. Am over 25 years of age , I have 7.5 in ielts , b.tech in computer science , my occupation is on the list but only a year working experience

Ouch, the years of experience is a little set back for u, since ACS - the assessing body for computer scientists/IT personnels - require a minimum of 3 years to get a positive outcome.

@Dontee5star: it is a suicide mission bro...You can't raise it irrespective of your ability. If you can go thru PR if you are eligible.

@Justloveme: what was he/she during inbetween the period? Is gonna be hard to convince any CO as GTE without solid activity for such a lengthy period.
@Richnet: perhaps you need to work more on your experience to qualify for PR but as for for raising the rest of the money while studing here my bro....YOU CANT. Only if your bro/uncle is gonna be responsible for larger part of it.

NNBB2012:

I did a 5 years course in Electrical Engineering, but did the program for 4years(yr2-5) and my 1st year was a diploma in the same school, unilag and used a direct entry admission into yr 2. I really want to know if this will affect my assessment from EA if applying as an Electrical engineer.. ie, will i still get the 15 points allocated for bsc?

ENGRJCJ:
oh my gosh and I have already submitted my visa application.. Do u have any sample of career episode. See my data
B. Eng= 15pts

27yrs=30pts
Where else can I raise more points coz my ielts is very poor, just 6.5. Is PTE less tough? Pls Bro reply me
You will need like 20 points from ielts/pte/toefl to be safe on the 60 points mark. Someone in this thread has gotten it with pte and fron what i ve seen, pte is easier than ielts in scoring high marks.

You can add the diploma result and transcript to it to convince whoever will assess your qualification. I think you should get your full point from EA. EA is not crazy like VETASSES.

Hello house, I am new here and I will really appreciate if I can be guided right.

I want to put in for the Australian skilled independent subclass 189.

I am 35, married with 2 kids and have 8 years work experience as a production technician in a multinational company.

I want to ask if I can use ND - Mechanical, HND - Mechanical and CILT UK - IOM certification in Operations Management to apply for the 189 and which of the body will assess my qualifications.

Thanks for now

House, i am also very interested in this question, pls one of the gurus should help us out, especially those in Griffith or ECU, as i hv a particular interest in those schools.

Did you submit any account statement, yours or your sponsor and if you plan to include a dependent, eg your spouse, which account statement is required.

Thanks God bless all those who have made it through this process, pls help other hopefuls in need of vital info.

@NNBB2012, bellong, tunai, lawland, other gurus

Though I have never used it on my resume, I have a National Diploma (2 years Full-time) in Insurance from a Federal Polytechnic which I acquired before my working life. If I add that to the BSc and ACIB that were awarded to me before I started working and the MBA (acquired after 4 years of work experience) and send them to VETASSESS, would they earn me the maximum score under Education for the purpose of EOI? I have 9 years working experience.
