you're still running in circles

1) you admit you have have no idea of how much has been spent so far on the said projects

2) Sahara only gave figures of the monies budgeted not money released which are two different things

3) though i beg to differ that the jobs are far from basic standards because sahara are known for sensationalism and over-exaggeration of facts to suit their purpose

4) Oduah have not denied it but Oduah have not accepted, infact Oduah have debunked the report which is more acceptable

5)you still havent proven any case against the senator
I am not proving any case against anybody, that is not my job. As a concerned Nigerian, I would only lend my voice to the call for a proper investigation.

While I admit I am not aware of the amount of funds released, it is obvious you are not also aware but have been running in blank circles. If that amount was budgetted, so how much was released? .... shouldnt you who claims to be informed tell us?.... or at least, the person being accused can come up with "insufficient funds were released" as a defense. But you have quickly jumped into defensive even while running around in circles. I am only lending my voice to the call for investigation by those who are informed. I am not judging nobody.

Charity begins at home, go and investigate Eco Atlantic. Billions of Dollars have been poured into the Atlantic Ocean for over 5 years now.

you cant determine if a job was poorly done if you dont have a detailed breakdown of funds made available for the project, if you have the breakdown you can match it with the workdone to see if it is commensurate with it. The minister only works with funds made available to the ministry and from internal sources in the ministry, and it is common knowledge that all government ministries are poorly funded due to limited federal revenue amidst competing government priorities.
there is no where in the publication that it was said the full sum for the project was provided to the minister, so pls cut the bullshit

We know she was given N13 billion to refurbish common terminal when Dutse, a better and modern airport with better facilities and larger runway that can fly and land jumbo jets was started and completed with just N11.5 billion.

The N23 billion spent on this still obsolete airport is more than enough to build 2 better airports with modern facilities and longer runway..

I do understand your usual tribal and clannish need to defend anything by any means necessary, but not obvious absurdities and needless fleecing..

same ignorance

1) you still dont know how much she was given

2) those contracts are still work-in-progress so she definitely didnt get all the money to finish them

3) simply write to ministry of aviation using the FOI act and request for a breakdown of funds expended on the project

4) when you get that you can now use that information to check if the monies released for the projects are commensurate with workdone.

so simple but i know still wont get it, its typical of Sai barbarians

On the new International terminal for which he performed the Foundation Laying ceremony, Goodluck Jonathan said the project, to be built at a cost of about N13 billion will provide for 500, 000 international passengers and provide Enugu and the South East region not only “a modern, efficient, functional, safe and secure gateway, but most importantly a prestigious edifice that will offer a befitting welcome and goodbye from the region and Nigeria”

Earlier in her address of welcome, Aviation Minister, Princess Stella Adaeze Oduah said the occasion calls for celebration, not just for the people of the South East geo-political zone of the country, but indeed for all Nigerians, enthusing that the Transformation Agenda of Mr President “is being actualized tangibly at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu”.

Princess Oduah said the new international terminal with a total floor area of 25,000 square meters will have capacity to handle 500,000 passengers per annum and will be completed in 24 months. “On completion of the terminal, this airport will finally answer it’s name in the real sense of the word “Akanu Ibiam International Airport”.

You should worry about your own ignorance, shallow, can't read and comprehend and warped mentality first..

What is my business with eco atlantic and why do you keep referring to eko atlantic?.... Is your mind so tribally depraved that you cannot discuss anything without involving tribalism?... And most senseless is the fact that in your bid to turn an argument to tribal competition, you keep throwing your arrow to the wrong direction.

And while I may have no tribal links with your eco atlantic, I know a little thing or two about it by merely reading and feeding my knowledge online. Obviously you are ignorant of the fact that eko atlantic isn't a government project but rather a private investment.

So the tactic now is to deny things. Good political move, if people were not living in Enugu.

He's silly noise about Eko Atlantic was a reflection of his own ignorance and tribal stupidity because EA is a private project and prvately funded.

In December 2009, the airport was closed temporarily for work to commence and those wishing to take the route were diverted to Sam Mbakwe Airport Owerri. This work spanned the period when Mr. Babatunde Omotoba was minister till when Fidelia Njeze took over. Therefore, the process of upgrading the Enugu International Airport was kick started by late Yaradua and N4.13 billion naira was approved by the FEC and released for the work to commence.

The Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Jonathan on October 19, 2010 reaffirmed the upgrade of Enugu Airport to an international facility and awarded a reviewed contract of about N6.1billion

TYPICAL team gej

Take credit when the going is good, issue denials when things go south.

All of a sudden the Amazon has become a mere rubber stamp, or as buhari put it, a noise maker.

The ultimate losers are the same defenders

After all the pomp and fanfare, they have an airport with Superficial and cosmetic upgrades that no serious airline will go near.

The east has been fked over by its own again

Drove Past the international terminal this evening,... I can say authoritatively that it is 85% complete. "Akanu Ibiam International Terminal" boldly inscribed on the solid looking edifice.
