Vancouverguy am satisfied with ur response. Again, let say I pursue 2 yrs diploma program. I also plan to marry my girlfriend. Can I marry her after d first year and take her along with me back to college in canada? (is it possible?) Or can I go back home after graduation and marry her and take her along with me back to work? What I am trying to get here is how can I plan to take her along with me to canada?

Well as good as ur profile is I beleve it will take a lot to convince a VO that's lookin for all means to deny you that ure goin for a second degree.

You can choose to write a good SOP if u believe u can convince the VO

Or
You sud jejely opt for a post graduate program and have less xplanation to do

I'll go for d latter if I were in ur shoes

Brandons environmental sciences has three specialization biodiversity, physical sciences and resource management ND I intend to go for resource management and besides d second degree is for two yrs. During the final yr project students can work with professors and get co-op placements with agri food Canada dats a plus for me
ND I get to see final year topics like
Importance of manure management and planning
Quantification of green house gas emissions and potential mitigation strategies
Things that really got to interest me. But I didn't write any letter before.

Good evening all.
I have been offered conditional admission in Selkirk College, CA to do PGD. I am told to pay my tuition fee before unconditional admission letter will be given to me for VISA Application. Should I go ahead to pay at least half? Also, i am having challenge finding a sponsor with substantial cash as my Dad is late, what should I do? Thanks

u can travel back to naija and get married anytime while in school.once u get married, your gf now wife will be eligible for a work permit therefore she will be able to join u in Canada as a worker while u are in school and her work permit will be valid for d duration of your study permit.once u done with school and get a postgraduate work permit, she will also be eligible for a new work permit valid till expiration of your postgrad wp.now keep in mind u have to be married for her to qualify as your spouse.u can go back anytime to get married and she will join u without much hassle as long as u have a valid status in Canada yourself.. Student permit/work permit etc.the cic website explains more on this and how to apply for your spouse.

No matter how low their tuition is..
They have a way of reducing the burden when it comes to tuition.. It's not like in Nigeria.. Where our Universities hardly give scholarships.

Why I'm advising u on that is bcuz u won't have a problem when it comes to a sponsor and ur visa will be given to u.. Like in no time..

I wish you good luck!

Thanks my broda! #BlessingsFollowMeAndOtherAspirants #Amen

@Akukpim.. Steffans is very right,. Even if BU tuition is cheap, There should be a way of reducing the burden when its comes to tuition and its also a plus in your application to CIC.. This is part of what's delaying my submission, Even if I can't wait for the scholarship I applied for, I'm waiting on the outcome of my supervisor research application. Nevertheless, you can search vigorously on scholarships that are applicable to you (As an African student, student from commonwealth country and Rural development graduate student) on the link below. Please read the instructions very well on how to generate your BU student ID with password and apply. You may be required to upload an On-campus recommendation,~ your supervisor(if going for thesis ) and some other documents..

https://webapp.brandonu.ca/pls/scholarship/

The scholarship office (https://www.brandonu.ca/future-students/scholarships/ ) may also be able to assist you if you have questions regarding scholarships and the application process.

I sent you a pm also @Akukpim

Have replied the mail also.

Let me advice you, marry her now. Since you love her before you apply for the visa, so that you can use her as home tie, when you get to Canada u will facilitate her coming. When she gets to Canada lol (give am belle), then before u will graduate she will give birth. Mata closed.

if u can afford it,go tru an agent.if not got to the govt of Canada immigration website and collate your documents together and u will be good to go.agent doesn't guarantee anything based on what have seen. I know a lot of peeps DAT submitted without an agent that were successful too...it's 50/50.if u have extra funds, use an agent if that gives u peace of mind. I did it myself because the money agents were asking for was almost half of my 1st year...for doing almost nothing.I will still be providing all the documents o. It's your call

I think survey plans alone should be ok, or if you can get the land deed btw ur sponsor and the sellers of each land (agreement) and for your sponsor tax clearance certificate if it's readily available you can include it if not don't bother yourself......
Non of the receipts can be verified but if the survey plans are registered with the ministry of lands i.e the Beacon numbers it's verifiable so just go with the survey plans.
I want to guess the C of O is not available yet
Yeah c of O not available yet,.. Thanks bro.. God bless

Hello house! Am still weighing options considering the cost and benefit. 2 years Diploma versus 1 year certificate. Which one pay? I intend to work and be residence in canada after study. I learn that am entitled to 1 year work permit after the certificate program while it is 2 to 3 years work permit after a 2 years diploma program. Can I still renew or extend my work permit after expiry of my work permit?

DO NOT SUBJECT YOURSELF TO UNNECESSARY WHAHALA.. 2 years diploma increases yr chance over 1 year cert.

Ur explanation seem interesting.
But if only the VOS grant us interviews

How long does your admission letter say? Two or four years

I have been offered conditional admission by Selkirk College, CA to do PGD in Gerontological Nursing. I am told to pay my tuition fee before unconditional admission letter will be given to me for VISA Application.
Should I go ahead to pay at least half?
Also, As per VISA application, i am told i need a sponsor who will have certain amount in the account. Please how do i get one who will stand as sponsor and also give me statement of account?

To get a sponsor that's your responsibility I don't think anybody on this thread can provide that.......look for a relative with steady income and good SOA also he/she will have to explain why spending on your education after that you can think of paying the deposit... hope dis help
