Swim some Rivers in ogoja and die. The water spirits or rather cult group will take you and even tell your rescuers when to come for your corpse if they'd think you're just drowning? Only in ogoja I try urinating in a gutter and to my amazement live band was playing as the water travelled down the gutter after heavy down pour. |

Haha...op is using south west as example of academic excellence. Much of South west except lagos is just as bad as north in terms of education. 1 Like 1 Share |

when u have nothing to contribute about a topic, keep off! there are more industries in Aba alone than the whole of cross river, Bayelsa and akwa ibom put together. The person who made that claim is looking for 'mentions'. Calabar has no economy and now full of destitudes. It is among the falling cities in Nigeria. 1 Like |
Nice one op. But I'll make some corrections. It's Agbakpa and not Akpakpa. And Agbakpa is Ogoja while Afrike 1 (a.ka. Okpeche) is Bekwarra. I saw your thread in the s£§¤¤\!+¥ section & i know you are a bit familiar with northern cross river, get your facts right b4 u rush to correct someone, the OP is right about AKPAKPA whc is in Bekwarra and not AGBAKPA as u said, the AGBAKPA u are refering to is ABAKPA in Ogoja LGA. {Proudly Bekwarra} |

-It's only in calabar u see men 7am on a. monday morning at d bar drinking already.. I was never more surprised the day I came across a lady ordering for beer while doing her makeup(before going to work o) -ure a racist if u eat pork but not dog in calabar. -its only in calabar u find 10 barbing salons,10 beer joints in just one street, haba -it's in calabar sets of small small boiz attack you with knife and obtain u.(scolombo boiz) -it's only in calabar that the next thing after Jamb is computer training. -its only in calabar a cab driver parks in d middle of the road to pick or drop a passenger and every oda car waits patiently behind without hooting. (I asked a driver once;oga u no dey use trafficator?he said when I get hands) The state is simply overhyped. Majority of their(so called) fine girls are short and have big tummy. U will run if u hear their accent and diction sef. the laziest set of people are from that state Plus Accommodation is ridiculously high The hardworking and good cooks in calabar are eida ibo ppl or akwa ibomites. I can only give them credit for serenity, good roads and carnival. |
