Hello house, I will like to ask a quick question,, zandora, jesusdway and every member of the good forum. Is it compulsory you get a mail letter sent to you if you are invited for interview or you can also get an email invite?

It's mostly email invite. The people I know received their invites via email.

Hi Esosa...I might not have all d answers but I'll give d ones I can...when our gurus are around they'll do justice to ur question.
For starters I think you should google IELTS Saudi Arabia and see what comes up. Secondly, I'd like to advise that u start ur educational credential evaluation(ECA) ASAP as it's quite a lengthy process for doctors. Again you should aim for a minimum of L8 R7 W7 S7 score in Ielts.
Thirdly Yes, it's an online thing devoid of interview(most times) but ur medicals and police clearance cert are required.
Fourthly, Yes you can apply from ur country of residence and Yes it takes six months or less for a decision to be made on ur case.

Pls note that you will require details/proof of employment. Documents like reference letter from work, appointment letters etc...others have a better idea of this than I do.
Goodluck wink

Thanks lots, you reply was helpful

Congrats, I think u have done very well for yourself at 29. Just to let you know, you are likely to be nominated ASAP after entering the pool if you are able to ace the IELTS. You will be sitting the General test and not the Academic. If you ace the test, will get a score of about 473 (I have assumed that you would be 30 years by then). If you are still 29 years by then, the score would be 478. And based on the trend, that would give you an ITA as soon as you enter.

I am saying this in reference to your having enough funds for the process in about a year's time. So please take note. What you can do is to also enter the pool in about nine months time. Since you have about ninety days (3 months) within which to lodge your application. By then that one year would have been up and ur funds would also have been accrued.

My thoughts.

Happy Easter!

Thanks much for the encouragement. I just found a center to write the ielts exam here in Saudi arabia. (please when you say ace the ielts, do u mean a score of 7 at least in each section? What's a good score to get)

In the meantime, will start the academic evaluation of my mbbs as soon as possible.

As regard your advise, you are suggesting I officially create a profile in November? Is that what you mean?

Anyways I will finish reading the thread pages so I understand how it works.

Concentrate on having your credential evaluation done, it especially takes time for doctors and please note that, it is medical council of Canada that will do your evaluation www.mcc.ca

Meanwhile, you aim at scoring clb 10(Canadian Language Benchmark) in your IELTS, that should conveniently get you to be invited to apply. You may only be able to create your profile after you have had your evaluation done and you have your IELTS result, which you are encouraged to score 8.5 in Listening(it's like 38/40), 8.0 in Reading(that's like 36 -37/40) and 7.5 each in both Writing and Speaking. God bless you

Well, I have a year experience in NOC 2451.
My msc and undergraduate degree has been evaluated by wes (16th March)
My IELTS general is L7.5 W6.5 R7 S7. Though I'm rewriting another one on the 30th of April.

Basically, my intention was creating a profile and know where I need to accrue more points. Instead, when I filled the application it was an instant inellegible status.

Your Occupation won't make you qualify(it appears it's not under Skill 0 or type A or B which are the occupations that are eligible), besides, it does not appear like there's anything like NOC 2451. This is aside the fact that 1year work experience is also not likely to suffice, even when it is the minium required, it hardly makes you get enough score in the FSW 100 point grid.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by JesusDWay(m): 1:12am On Mar 28, 2016
Everyone should please note this concerning NOCs, any NOC which its second digit is from 4 upwards will fall under skill type C or D, which does not qualify to apply for FSW programme under Express Entry. You may however check some province's nomination programme as some of them allow people of Skill type C to apply.

You're welcme.

#IMO general Ielts is quite easier than Academic but you still require some practice. The listening and speaking are the same for both modules. Send me a mail so that I'll send u d material I used.

Hi all

Hope we r enjoying d hols? wink

WES just notified me that my ECA is complete. It reads that it's the first professional degree in law. My question is this, is it equivalent to the professional degree required to practice a profession like medicine law etc for which u earn 135 marks on d CRS tool?

I want to ask if I can use ND - Mechanical, HND - Mechanical and CILT UK - IOM certification in Operations Management to apply and which of the body will assess my qualifications.

Thanks for now

You can get your uncle to gift the money to you, the most important thing is being able to explain the sudden funds. If you sell a property, as long as you can prove that it was sold with documents, etc, you are good to go.Also, i guess if your uncle gives you the money, as long as you can prove it was given to you as a gift by your uncle, you should be good, those that are more knowledgeable will also advice you.

Dear everyone,

I have a question relating to proof of funds too. I submitted my application since December 2015. I wish to know if I have to leave the funds untouched till I get PPR?

Thank you

You can be a member, anyone can be a member of any body infact I am a member of 2 professional bodies. However in order to claim the 250 additional points you'll need to obtain professional certificates to enable you practice and this can only be gotten by writing their professional exams. This is what CIC states in order to claim 50 additional points:

'Professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession(also known as First professional degree or Entry-to-practice professional degree)

For Express Entry, we only accept professional degrees in these fields:

medicine,
veterinary medicine,
dentistry,
podiatry,
optometry,
law,
chiropractic medicine, or
pharmacy.

As you can see it's called a degree so you'll have to sit for the body's exams to obtain it.

@zandora I am reading ur thread from behind, I saw this.

Pls in respect to medical doctors, what's the whole benefit/package of this PR.
I know one has to write several exams as seen on mcc website before getting license to practice, but hope that's not a prerequisite to getting express entry PR?

Lastly, I am making enquiry from mcc website for evaluation of degree, after that + ielts, am I good to go?

God bless

Dear AlphaNumero,
Thanks for your response. the reason why I asked is because I don't keep money in my bank account, I prefer to keep it in my organization's cooperative account where I can withdraw it anytime I need it. So the funds is available for me when I want to land and I am able to provide the statement whenever it is requested. I am just concerned as to if CIC has a way of checking one's statement with the bank during the process.
Has there been any instance where CIC confirms one's statement with the bank?

Thank you

Thanks for this wonderful thread.
I do need some informations and guidelines. Myself and my fiancee are planning on relocating to Canada come next year after finishing her Midwifery. She is a Nurse working with one of the South western state in Nigeria. I work with Federal government too in an Hospital as well and with a Master degree.
I just need to know the required detailed information that will help to facilitate the process as early as possible so that one can start planning towards it from now.
Thanks in anticipation for your response.

Hi Sujydee, welcome on board. WES shld be the right body to evaluate your HND. just log onto wes canada website and read through. u can then come back with more questions.
Secondly, what is your NOC?? is your wife educated and below 30 and has some years work experience in an eligible NOC?? can she also get an ECA and a good IELTS score? if your answers to the above are affirmative, u may want to consider making her the primary applicant because you guys will have a better chance at getting an ITA.
Cheers.
