PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has said Federal Government will not be able to disclose the exact amount retrieved so far from certain persons that looted the treasury, saying it would be used as evidence in the court trials of the indicted persons. But he assured that the recovered funds were safe in a dedicated account in the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). www.sunnewsonline.com/recovered-loot-why-we-wont-disclose-amount-buhari/ 1 Like

The only consistent thing about this government is denying every reason the masses voted them into power. Not long ago you people promised to disclose the amount now you guys are giving reason for failing to do so. Is it that you people are not proactive when talking or what? How can we trust you again when you change your words just after speaking it. Is there any loot and why keep it a secret thought you promised an open government. There will be judgment day mr president and you may end up destroying a legacy you built over the course of your life within four years. You have the chance to write your name in gold or in feaces. The choice is yours as to what you want me to tell my kids about you 121 Likes 8 Shares |

More lies. When will these court dates be eh? The more they lie, the more I think they have little to no proof or evidence. So they are looking for guilty instead of looking for justice. That in itself is corruption. If it has been a year and you still dont have the necessary proof after all the threats, hounding and media war? It means you're a disgrace for lying or a disgrace for being inept. 43 Likes 6 Shares |

Because the thieves must go to jail. After the court hearing (the money is evidence) if APC is a real party we will hear the amount. but i do not expect u to know anything about protocol and accountability. afterall You are PDP. 5 Likes 1 Share |

So what? Do we expect you to take the entire amount of money (400 trillion or more) to the court room? Who are you deceiving? We were told that Ex President Obasanjo also returned some money, are you also not disclosing his so you can use it to try him? How many APC chieftains now who were formerly in PDP until maybe two, three, four or 5 years ago (since cleansing from corruption is in the defection from PDP to APC) has returned what amount; or those ones too are kept in the secret place of the CBN so you will use as evidence to jail them? Again, in your words, Garba Shehu, you've said 'some of the money', does it mean not all looters or loots/fund-returned, or those that returned the funds will be treated equally. Looters hear me and hear me well: DONT RETURN A DIME AGAIN. Buhari and his cohorts are using you, the funds and Nigerians for abracadabra. 57 Likes 11 Shares |

So far the Buhari anti graft war is commendable and should be supported by all. Sir ride on as no responsible and responsive government will disclose details of recovered loot before the public when the culprits will be made to face the full wrath of the law. It is prejudicial sir. . 9 Likes 3 Shares |

Aufbauh: Who are these imaginary culprits from whom monies have been recovered, but EFCC has not found the courage to NAME, arrest and charge ? Doesn't it seem, if true at all, that government is actually trying to SHIELD these so- called suspects from public accountability ? Where is the transparency? 14 Likes 3 Shares |
