freedom from wat?? is wat i wana know
. Freedom from the shackles of slavery, oppressions of any kind, racism they are anti apartheid. It is called (NBM) a.k.a or Aiye! The emblem depicts what they believe in, where an axe cuts the chains from the hands of a slave. It is believed that the group was formed by 7 hefty men that ran away/migrated from South Africa during the apartheid era to Nigeria. Senior members adopt names of past African leaders e.g Nelson MandeLa etc as nicknames. The have strong presence in uniben & other skools across Edo, warri, Abraka, the entire SS/SE/SW skooLs. Mind u they are Legally registered Group. Their signpost and emblem are visible along major highways nationwide when travellin' by road.

What exactly is the aim of this thread?
To think some people are even dragging first position for their schools on top cultism is bamboozling.

Well speaking of ESUT, its still happening maybe they called a truce that's why they been silent for a while grin

Thanks.. I am happy that there was some element of peace for the undergraduate in that institution...we knew no peace while studying in that school.....one unrest or the other... U can't find female wearing high heel in that institution.... not that they do not have it or they do not want to but they apply "common sense" Everyone is always prepared to run when it starts...

I just took some time to make a little research on the university i graduated from, Possibly for something bad on the internet this holiday....It was just clean...No bad record....I am kind of happy... I guess the school Authority is doing something great....and most of the undergraduates are homely....

As at 1999-2005 the institution was known to be very dangerous....we were not popular in terms of Academics then...But the name was the most popular for the wrong reasons.... even as i checked on this thread, the name hasn't been mentioned for what it was known for before......
Anyone that was in Nigerian university from 1998-2006 will definitely know the institution.. I just hope no one will tell me it was still bad... That i was praising them for nothing cheesy

No... The schools u mentioned were really solid in terms of Academics back then.. I said before that we were not known for academic excellence..... there was a report in year 2000 by a foreign media that shook the foundation of that school that time, (U know internet was not as common back then as it was now.. They just Print and sell papers)

I was a freshman in that school then......The report stated that the institution was the second most dangerous in the world after one Russian school which was first...The school authority took the matter really serious. The school invited priest and pastors to come and pray for the school... No lectures that day....every one was at the arena ground both lecturers and students pretending to pray....Some cultist came out and renounce publicly...like 62 of them...

The next semester it became really worse.... I remembered my Final Year Examination, The school gave all the 3rd year to first year one month break.. The police in that institution then almost out numbered the students.... No one to celebrate with us because the students have all gone home.... but no record of Death was registered during the exam... The school was in the Eastern part.... And it was a state University.

From inception I knew u were talking abt esut

Yes it use to be the most dangerous school in Nigeria bt I quess it must have cooled Down

I was around then and I tank God is less popular in cultism now

. Lol ... I ain'T a cultist but am neutraL, i know modus operandi of diff Families. Sometimes they do offer assistance to members of the public. I'm a living witness. There's no society without confLicT, breach of peace, agreement etc this always lead to fight, wars etc. It takes a Law enforcement agents to forestall Law&Order!
