Since she s already on those routine drugs, I don't see any need for pregnacare. The routine drugs contain more iron dan pregnacare. I ll say, continue wt d routine drugs.

Hello Moms, please help a first timer clear her fears.
I think am 3months gone now, but my tommy is still as flat as it has always been.
When I am supposed to go register at a hospital? I actually wanted to do that by 3months, but it's 3months now and I think am ok. No compliants, just that I sleep alot and don't eat some food.
I think I have the no-libido thing too, and am scared I have refused him intimacy more than twice now and he has said nothing. I remember shouting at him the other day, I want to apologise but don't know how to start it, because It isn't the first time.

3 months is very ok for you to start antenatal, try and eat what your body accept, as per the no Libido thing is very normal atimes, and also don't forget to apologise to ur hubby, I guess he would understand.

Lemme give you one trick,one of my twin naval fell 4 days ago sharp sharp with only the application of spirit,while the brothers own fell yesterday night after my mum mixed salt and water then she used cotton bud to apply it round the naval,sharp sharp it fell off by night.so if you wish to try it.

@odycute, don't worry, ur bump ll show. Some don't show till up to 17wks. U can register for antenatal nw o. Don't wait till u hv complaints. Register nw so dat baseline investigations ll b done. Abt d libido, pls even if u don't feel like it, oblige Oga once in a while o. And as much as u can avoid shouting at him because of kpekus o. Don't gv him room to start considering other means o. It s well wt all of us.
@senoreetah, pls as kaffy adviced, just increase frequency of cleaning d cord to 2-3hrly. Don't apply anything else. D spirit s OK. It ll fall off soon.

@Mompurity 2,my team mate,ur bump is so big n beautiful,i envy u o,am seriously craving 4 a big bump,yet my tommy is almost flat,nobody can tel am even pregnant even though,i still wear my hugging clothes.
@mumtwins,5cm dilated n no labour pains or contraction?It must b God @ work,wish u a supernatural delivery,awaiting ur .bs.

Aspa d discussion on libido,had high libido in d early days of marriage,but wen ttc set in,it dropped drastically,only had d urge 2 baby dance during ovulation daz all,fastforward 2 now,no urge atall ,used 2tel dh in our 1st trimester don't worry,na u go run 4 2nd trimester,2my surprise still no urge,except wen hubby bribes me wt plenty goodies d urge would just appear,una nid 2c enof bribery n corruption b4 kpetusing can fit take place,no b my fault sha ,na him baby cause am.
pls,i nid help on how 2 use these nairaland smilleys biko,i don try tire,d tin no dey gree .

I play cartoons for my baby.he/she is just six months in her mummy's womb.I hope he/she can hear it because I love him/her a lot even from the womb.Am a dad to be..And also,my wife always told me she feels the baby moving most of the time.So,I placed my palm on her stomach early in the morning for like two hours.My baby keeps pushing up my hands from her mum's womb.The baby was just having a nice time moving around.I am sure he/she will be longing to see mum and dad and also those cartoons that keeps beat the drums,singing and speaking in the television..lolz..I just love babies...but we will be spacing let's say three years interval.

Yes the baby can hear sounds from 20/21 weeks . Don't just place on your hands on the womb but talk to the baby as you do so. Aim for consistency .That way you are also gradually creating a bond between you and the baby. It's impressive that you are interested in bonding with your child. God bless you for being supportive. ... May you be a great father!!
