 Am a university student and we all know university students spend alot. Juss Last wk monday 14th march, i called home crying for cash; dad sent 15k, mum sent 9k.As am typing here now, my Account is EMPTY I've used all d withdrawable cash there. Am about using d remaining cash to recharge my phone. Am confuss, since last night i neva chop; I wanto faint as am typing dis. You don't need to 'scope' them. First, sit down with your paper and pen and try to remember everything you spent the money on. Since its just a week I'm sure you'll remember a good deal of it. Then try to cut your expenses - the unnecessary snacks, cab fares, etc Using that list for one week, try to estimate your monthly budget, with a little 'extra' - you may call it miscellaneous expenses - and present this budget to your parents. Be reasonable, as you alone know what they can afford, but at the same time don't be afraid to give a high budget if its something you can defend.
