President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, March 31, honoured CSP Abba Kyari, the police officer who was behind the team that led the Special Intelligence Response Team that rescued the 3 abducted school girls in Ikorodu on March 6th with a Presidential Award for Courage. CSP Kyari also led the team that rescued the mother of Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, who was abducted in Delta state in 2012. Honour well deserved. More photos below;

The story is confusing.

However, this police officer Aba Kyari deserves the honour. His name is always coming up as team lead for bursting of the most deadly robbery and kidnapping syndicates in the country in recent years.

It's a good gesture but I think the boys he worked with should b mentioned as well..

Also, we read how ransome was paid by the parents and we are yet to match the "Police rescue" and the cash paid to know how the credit was given to the police. Nigeria's puzzle hardly get solved most times....

I thought we read how the parents of the girls paid 5.6 million naira ransom to be able to free the girls from their abductors. So how come another policeman is being honored?

I laugh at you. Believe everything you read in the media (print and especially social) at your own peril!

wait a sec . there are two version to the girls rescue .

the father of one of the girls actually narrated our he paid ransom to the kidnappers and the girls were freed the next day .
Even the girls gave a detailed narration of how they were released and had to trek some distance to a police station .

so , where does this dude being paraded come in?
The police don't even care what we know, they just lie ..take it to the press and watch Pple. masturbate on it
