yes entry stamp and exit stamp from Nigerian Immigration, but not when leaving or returning to UK smiley

That is exactly what i'm saying. I'm not sure why they have to stamp the Nigerian passport when exiting Nigeria rather than the British one.

The Nigerian immigration will stamp your British passport it there is a Nigerian visa on it, meaning that you entered Nigeria as a British Citizen eventhough you are also Nigerian. They will not stamp your Nigerian passport. My spouse British passport was collected in Nigeria. When she showed it to the Nigerian immigration, they requested for her Nigerian passport as there was no visa on the British passport. They told her that she is leaving the country as a Nigerian. That if she want to leave as a British Citizen, she must have a visa on her British passport.

Yes that is correct but when one is holding both passports the British one need to be stamped when exiting Nigeria.

I just wanna know if he got his VAF reference because the email i got only have a GWF reference no VAF reference. I just confuse, do you think am still going to get another email stating clearly the GWF and VAF refeerence?

yea but i think Nigerian passport holders use the Nigerian passport to enter Nigeria and their British passport to enter UK, so not to pay visa fees, this would possibly mean no stamps??

Yes that is the whole idea but no stamp thing is what i don't get. I know the UK don't stamp at all as they have a way of checking in-and-out.

Does Nigerian passports also get stamped, or just Non National with visas that are stamped?

My husbands Nigerian passport was not stamped when he left Lagos, so i can only imagine that Nigerian holders of both British passports and Nigerian passport are entering/exiting Nigeria with the Nigerian passport meaning no stamp and when they leave/enter the UK they use the British passport...if that makes sense lol

2) Nigerian passport

Outbound The Nigerian national want to travel From UK to Nigeria

1) Exits UK with British passport
2) Enters Nigeria with the Nigerian passport

spends too much money like a King/Queen, and distributes the numerous gifts/orders from family or friends abi? (lol smiley)

Return: Nigeria to UK

1) Exits Nigeria with Nigerian passport
2) Enters UK with the British passport

try not to worry, just take check list they gave at biometrics the passport should take a week from the TLS email, which you may or may not receive another email, its usually the TLS that is slow at updating/emailing cheesy

@Justwise

Please I will like you to help me with this. I a making the appeal tomorrow and wanted to know if I should only resend the documents I initially sent when I made my application or I do need to add new evidence. like I said I a off sick and submitted the last six payslips prior to me going off sick as stated in paragraph (6) of the financial requirement.

I did not send any payslips showing statutory sick pay, because that section did not require me to send any. I was refused just because the ECO did not take that paragraph into consideration and as such said they checked with HMRC and they were informed that the amount I was paid which was during the period I was off sick did not correspond to my salary as claimed and so they were not convinced that I work for the company I said I worked for. HMRC also confirmed to the ECO that I had worked and paid the hours on the payslip I submitted but the ECO still went ahead to reject our application saying they were not convinced I worked for my company.

please do I need to send the SSP payslips or just need to resend the six payslips before I went off sick as required. do I need to provide new supporting evidence till date or I just need to resend all the evidence I provided when we submitted the application . its confusing and do I need to send photos again. we met every other requirement except this silly reason that we were rejected for. the ECO completely ignored that I was off sick and did not take Paragraph (6) into consideration.

Again how much was I suppose to pay for Health Surcharge as we paid £600 and I have Indefinite Leave. Thanks and waiting for your reply

I have also asked my boss to confirm again in writing that I am off sick and receiving SSP and that my job is guaranteed when I come back from sick leave. I have also asked the doctor to confirm my condition again in writing but honestly very confused as I had already submitted all of these when we made the application. thanks

Check on the TLS website. There are conditions and think the fees is gone up to £420

This is an opportunity for you to send as many documents as possible both the ones you sent before and new ones. Especially any document that you did not include in your initial application will really help your appeal.

So send any new document you have now + those you sent during your application
