Err, if you think I'm exaggerating with my experience, I'll tell you my boy's experience in Abuja last year when he went there. Prior to that, he only visited naij once when he was a kid. We were meant to go together cos it was about a little IT project we were doing with some naij guys from naij that we went to Uni with. I just changed my mind cos I don't know anyone in Abuja but he was more inclined to go cos a few of his uncles live there. Boom now yeah, he got there and he was just complaining about everything from the first day, apart from the food and big house. Then the next day, he was gonna change £400 to naira and they told him it's N270 to £1 but the driver that was driving him around told him he can get him a better deal at N350 or so to £1. So he must've ranged me on whatsapp...I just told him to trust the guy with the peez. An hour later, the guy came back with the money and he asked me how much he should give him. Since it's the driver's hustle, I told him to break him off 20 grand (naira) like a real nyggah should. Fam, can you believe the driver who's old enough to be his dad was floor thanking him with tears, while talking about how that likkle p would solve a lot of problems in his life? A week after when he was leaving, I just told him to give the driver £150, the same amount he'll waste on a pair of Jordans.

Apart from the fact that nothing works out there, the overwhelming majority of folks are dirt poor and desperately in need of help. Is that the type of environment you want to live in, where you'll have to wake up every morning and start feeling sorry for folks as you drive around? The backwardness alone is enough to make you go nuts. Then the type of suffering you'll see everyday would make you want to shed a tear. How many folks are going to even help and dole out cash to from time to time? That's why I don't like all those political jobbing clowns in the politics section.

Honestly, if I had my way, I'll pull Yorubas out of that cesspit cos the country is damaged beyond repairs. If some Yoruba fvckers prefer the backwardness and abject poverty in naij, I'll just pull the whole of Ijebuland out of it. You don't need a massive country with a huge population of folks who're mostly walking dead to have a sane environment. An Ijebuland that looks like Cyprus or even Seychelles in Africa, is enough. Naij is a messed up place. The thought of those kids who're always running after cars on the motorway just to sell something to feed themselves always make me go nuts. People don't need to go through that type of hardship to stay alive.
