yaki84:N2.1 trillion was for the year 2011. It had nothing to do with prevailing oil prices cos investigations revealed that most of the moneys were just fraudulently diverted by enemies of Nigeria without the FG uttering a word or lifting a finger. The protests at Ojota were mainly because the government showed absolutely no commitment to go after the perpetrators who at the time were all known. |

Allison Madueke is a genius take it or leave it. She is the best Petroleum minister in recent Nigeria history. I have 100 reasons to say so and I stand by it. If you APC idiots say but she was corrupt I challenge you pls drop a proof here. The boloks uk govt up till now has no evidence, beside I challenge apc goats to tell me where is that private jet she owns park or hidden right now that she is on sick bed please name the airport the machine was parked or park ![]() The mansion in Austria pls submit the planning permission or the mortgage company that sold the property to her Pls drop all account details where those billion you claimed she stole were kept![]() Look at all your Mr saint only to be touring filling stations and your saint I too honest alhaji buhari was busy junketring and busy arresting people and for 9 months no fuel, no light, no economy, no security, infact no life. Madueke God bless you we shall ever remember you as a real man in woman flesh you are the master. APC shame on you if your so called corrupt govt can handle fuel scarcity for 6 years, give 6000mw of electrucity at least but you Mr saint could not even deliver just half shame shame on you. |

Ijaya123:april 2015, jonathan knew his fate he was not coming back. take a look at man city, by january the management announced a new coach when the incumbent was still effectively doing well, what happened after on, no motivation, no extra push cos u already know thr is nothing to push for again. jonathan in april was preparing his handing note, dont forget he was not expecting to lose so he put his all for a comeback. losing on 28march n knowing there is nothing he will do again to change d statistics on ground, he succumbed. na only a fool will sacrifice his all when they people u r fighting for say we dont want u again. |

Too bad Nigeria has gotten the point where we are always making a choice between the devil and deep blue sea in everything including fuel scarcity. The past was a nightmare, the present is a nightmare, GEJ vs PMP, chai, what a country |

obailala:corruption is a collaborative act, the people u think are the perpetrators may not even benefit much from it. so going after people when the main way to defeat the scourge of corruption in that sector once n for all was for discontinuation of subsidy which d govt of that period did. |

luvinhubby:No! it is not better, we should be advocating for wiser spending and not prodigal wastage. I gave an example earlier, with all the indiscriminate spending during the years of plenty, what then happened when the money stopped coming in?... All the beautiful economic indices turned upside down into peril (go and study what happened to our economy in the last 6-7months of GEJ). Fortunately and unfortunately, the time of peril coincided with the a time of power transition. Consequently, many undiscerning minds have attributed the peril to the new government which took over. Once again, we should be advocating for wise spendings not reckless squandermania. |

yaki84:There are certain things you do that give people the hope in your choices and policies. No doubt, ending the subsidy regime would have stopped the thievery, but the FG should have bought the trust of the people by at least showing a sign that they were going to go after the perpetrators. You don't just ask Nigerians to tighten their belts while you wine and dine with the very real culprits in full public glare. |

udemzy101:Of course, the government needs to spend to stimulate the economy and it is obvious there isn't much money to spend this time. However, we must only advocate for wise/responsible spending. |

Don't even understand how a group of men who claim to be intelligent would have nominated a man who cannot communicate in clear and simple English as president. This country tire me. |

What would the ousted government have done differently if they were voted into power? You are just hating on buhari for defeating your GEJ in the last elections. Nigeria now is just like a a building that just collapsed that is being built back from foundation. So we need to give this government time to fulfil their promises and if they fail we can boot them out next time. But judging a government in 9months for more than 16years of the a previous administrations misgovernance ludicrous. obailala:There's no country that you won't find corruption, though in some countries it is reduce to the minimum, however corruption also have a good role to play in the economy growth. Buhari should stop claiming to be a saint when he is also corrupt, he should start making things work. |
