Iceland's Prime Minister has already resigned just because he was mention in #PanamaPapers, due to pressure from the citizens. Saraki has also been mentioned too. If we want him to resign I think the power is in our hands this is a democracy the citizens are the government. We better make #SarakiMustGo start trending. |

wellmax:Monkey. Which law makes it criminal to continue to receive and withdraw funds being paid by a previous employer after relinquishing your employment?? You are a bastard. Why can't you answer this simple question? All your long talk is foolish. Online research about what exactly when I am challenging you to educate me with the specific law in Nigeria that is giving you confidence to talk? When you're charged to court, it is for breaching a particular law. Which law is in breach here? Why can't you educate me on this? Animal. |

I'm tired of commenting on this topic but some people's comments are so dumb. When a thief is caught and he is facing d law, that is when u see some funny people making reference to people like Tinubu, Ameishi,Obasanjo and others. I'm not saying theses people are not thieves, but let stop making flimsy excuses. Funny comments like what of Tinubu dat stole money and nothing was done to him.Theses primitive behaviour can't help us because we are suffering it. Tinubu has many companies in Lagos where many are employed while Bukola Saraki does not have a sing kiosk, talk less of owning a big company in kwara. We should all be happy if all these corrupt leaders facing d same case Bukola Saraki is facing. Me, am not a political party person. I don't support you because you are a PDP or apc man. I did not vote for Buhari because he is apc. I voted for him because I believed he wld be an alternative. Then, we were tired of Goodluck Jonathan govt. I can't comment on d issue of Bukola Saraki's salary because I still see him as d governor of kwara state. Governor Ahmed is a figure head. Bukola saraki is d one to share state allocation. He install governor Ahmed in order to save and protect his dirty deals in kwara. |

greenify:You need to reformat your empty brain. See how casually you're glossing over an issue that is critical to entrenching the Rule of Law. So because Thief A stole money and spent it on the community, he should be ignored, while it is OK to persecute suspected Thief B because he supposedly doesn't have a 'kiosk'? Some of you should be tied to the stake and shot for your stupidity. Selective justice is injustice. Simple. If the likes of Tinubu, Amaechi and Fashola cannot be subjected to the same judicial processes as the other 'thieves', then what the hell are we talking about? No wonder Africa is such a joke. Until we are ready to apply the laws equally without stupid excuses or exemptions, the so-called anti - corruption war by this retard called Buhari is an irritating comedy show. |

kuuljay:Here we were when a particular administration dragged one of its party members to court where he was sentenced to impreasonment latter he came out of prison and straight to church to dance shoki with jesus not too long after he became chairman of the party.I dont know why our memory is slack. former administration also pardoned a godther after serving jail term. An IG was disgrased and inprisoned...yet our situation getting worst...occurences repeating themselves and some keep hope in it. I dont believe we can be so stupid to be believing lies since 1960 we cant be idiotic more than this |

hedonistic:Random or not, it makes no difference because it's still deposited money by accident that doesn't belong to you. You have to show me exactly how it is an offense to assume (assuming that was the case) that my former employer did not choose to continue paying me for X number of months or years as a goodwill gesture, or as reward for my meritorious service. You can not assume that strange funds in your accounts that gets deposited every month belongs to you or deposited fr some good gesture unless you can prove with documents facts from the state stating that the deposited funds reflected some meritorious reward. Do you get rewarded every month or you still work for the same employer that you still deserve meritorious reward every month? Was anything on paper stating that you deserve meritorious reward in bank deposits every month? You overreached with that and you made no sense at all.. Besides, what law exactly in Nigeria criminalises the sort of action you're talking about? Where there is no law there is no crime. ... More so, considering that the recipient can use a million plausible rationales to justify his right to withdraw funds from his own account. The law does not say that account holders have a duty to confirm that they were expecting a specific deposit before withdrawing from their own fucking account. If you must reply, kindly controvert my post with reference to specific laws. Long stories or unfounded opinions would not be entertained. There is no law against spending your own money, but there are laws against spending what doesn't belong to you even if it was deposited into your account by mistake. Specific law and crime committed is theft. This is even worse than the example I gave about the convicted teen who spend deposited money in his account because that was a one time deposit, but in Saraki's case, we are talking about multiple deposits so if not caught once by oversight, what about subsequent deposits..? The fact that the money came from the people of the same state you used to govern means you have not only have a moral obligation to stop the deposits, but also social civic and patriotic obligation to do so as the former chief law enforcer of the same state. He did not cheat any bureaucracy with his actions, he cheated the people of his own state. |

hedonistic:Tinubu's political opponents aka the PDP and Jonathan put Tinubu on trial for corruption and with all the law enforcement tools and international law enforcement corporation at their disposal, they came up with nothing. Even the silly charges they managed to put together was operating foreign accounts, but nearly all the accounts were his wife and kids account with little or nothing in the accounts and zero looted funds. So, please let us see your own facts against Tinubu and what the PDP and Jona missed that you saw. |

Tinubu that didn't leave government house Ikeja for Fash for how long which was an open secret in Lagos you won't be surprised if he was still collecting financial benefits from Lagos which he should not. EFCC continue your performance. Well done. Acting out the script you were created for - to hound and oppress known openents threats of the govt in power. No be today, continue |

I thought the case was for false declaration of assets, where are the witnesses for that? If these are the type of witnesses we are expecting he may win the case and instead of people to blame EFCC for presenting a shoddy case people will start insulting the judiciary. You cannot bring someone to court for arson and present evidence for armed robbery , he will get off Scot free. If they want to charge him for criminal enrichment they know what to do, all this is playing to the gallery. |

This will not serve as a deterrent but an Eye-opener for people to play by the rules or be crushed by any means...who's foooling who? Even if Saraki was a saint... The method he used to grab power will make anyone witch-hunt him and bring him down by all means...but ofcourse all I've said so far will enter one ear and come out via d other cos you're among the masses dat beat thieves on the road even when you know the others are armed-robbers |
