I will advice you to stick with windows 7 for now but if you must upgrade, then make it windows 8.1

Some had problem with battery while others didn't, I was among the ones who had battery problem and it has not been rectified.
I will advise you to dual boot windows 10 with your current windows and if you are satisfied with the performance, you can go to disk management and delete your older windows partition, leaving only windows 10

Sincerely don't know how to dual boot windows 10, i will have to go through some tutorials online to be able to do this. I think i will just do the upgrade directly.

Like seriously windows 10 suck data like water. It consume up to 2gig within couple of hours without streaming or downloading.

@ computerboy thanks for the good work on this thread. I just upgraded my system(Dell 6gb 640gb, core i3 with Intel(R) graphics ) to widows 10, the upgrade went fine and all features seems to be working fine. Nevertheless (1) the upgrade didn't come with the sleep options.
(2) The system now has a low quality display( this is the most pressing issue).

Kindly advice on what to do

A frnd of mine got me hp amd quad core, 15.6, Amd 8gig and 750hard disk drive for 60k from the UK.... Is it worth the price? Cos I ear say amd lappy no good say na corei5 N d likes na good....

I don't even knw the exact name of the lappy sef... Just the specifications
