backing up your contact to a memory card is a waste of time. if you have any email setup on your BB e.g yahoo, gmail, hotmail etc, then all your contacts are saved to that email's contact book

Are you using the right network mode in your phone...you need to set the phone to 3G network mode to get signals bette than EDGE

Are you on the latest OS?

LOL, yeah ofcourse...the problem just started suddenly. it can't get 3G in areas where it normally does, even when others are getting 3G.

Na wa o! Ok, try to put your sim in another phone to confirm if it will pick 3G if you haven't tried that before.
If you have tried it in the past before, Try another sim on your phone. If e nor still work, visit their glo centers...

It's normal theirs nothing wrong with you phone, it only displys the network Tht you are using, if you try inserting a different sim, it will also show the network. so relax

The airtel BIS data is charged at twice the rate on androids and BlackBerry 10 devices as it is charged on legacy BlackBerrys. It gets worse if you dare visit YouTube

The Genesis is that airtel has now found a way to distinguish between devices better so they don't mind you using the BIS on none legacy BlackBerry devices but you'll pay the same rate as you would have paid if you bought a vanilla android data plan

You can try glo BIS...it is also 1.4k for 3gb and it doesn't drain as fast as airtel BIS
