space has nothing todo with opening tabs instead its the memory size you "may" need to increase or your refresh ur browser...
its always important to provide adequate information(memory size, browser name) needed to solve the problem..

If you recently made some changes to your computer system, use System Restore to go back to a previous state in which everything worked fine.

You can follow the guide here http://sholadaitman.com/2016/03/using-system-restore-to-fix-windows-problems/

Nonetheless, consider upgrading the physical RAM. Follow the guide in this other link to help you decide. http://sholadaitman.com/2015/12/upgrading-physical-memory-ram/

please the background light for my laptop is no more there everything goes dark wen it is switched on. I only see the icons wen I point touch on the screen what or where should I click to bring it back on.
i believe there should be a key to enable you switch on and off the light. Check your laptop keys, especially the F keys or keys close to it at the top of the laptop KEYBOARD

You mean it takes one hour to boot into Windows?? shocked

Have you scanned the system for viruses?

Have you tried to restore the system to a previous state in which everything worked fine?

As a final resort, just backup your personal files and reinstall Windows.

I've not been able to access some sites on my system: Google, gmail, facebook, yahoomail, youtube etc. I guess I tampered with the "Certificates" sometimes ago. The few sites I've been able to access always demand I confirm the certificates. Please how do I resolve this?

check the date of your system...make sure its correct
else your antivirus is whats not authenticating the certificates.....check for the exception rule on the error page..
i used to have that problem with kaspersky....until i tweaked it manually
state the antivirus and browser u use
