Lammyz:I don't know why students can't make a point reasonably, the guy that died is someone I know very well, his gf use to stay beside us and they move together. I insist no other casualty was recorded as this lie is only peddled by miscreants. We are all pained we lost one of our own but unreasonable riot is what I won't subscribe to. What's the cause of agitation of the students? Did Afolabi died in health center? Did Fade kitchen, Varsity, Plenty and rubbish and coca-cola village contributed to his death? Then why looting the place all in the name of Aluta?. Championing Aluta without a cause is what I see here and the saddening thing is that the inexperienced 100l and 200l students were being used to benefit their pocket by the "international Students". If there is anything I know, the students behaved unreasonably in destroying the school properties and we all will surely pay for it. I believe reasonable people will see sense in this. |

AAUA Update On Resumption Date A committee has been constituted by the Vice Chancellor to look into and investigate the protest that occured on Saturday and Sunday. This committee is expected to look at the cause of the protest, the human factor involved, the estimation of the damages caused on the school properties. And give their recommendations based on their findings. The committee is expected to be inaugurated tomorrow at the Senate meeting. My Thought :: (With this information, the committee will definitely not use 7days to finish the assignment given to them. Though am not certain if an ultimatum was given to them or not. So you guys might be home for maybe 2 weeks or more). |
