Around 11am students came out to protest against the school management concerning two of them that died.

Commercial vehicle crushed a student on the road some days ago.The students accused the people of Akungba-Akoko that they didn't help the victim till he died.

Yesterday a motor knocked down another student who later died in health center.
The student accused the doctors for not paying due attention to the victim.

The protest is a violent one, many things were destroyed in the school. The police used about 2 hours before they could stop them.

This is what you get.

When you Convert Boarding Schools to Universities, they have brothers in Schools like ABSU,EBSU,LAUTECH.

And younger brothers in Secondary Polythecnic like Offa,Iree and Rivers Poly.

Schools not known for anything Academic, but Toutish behaviour.

Please let's be mindful of the information we release online, only one student died in this whole saga which is quite unfortunate.

This event made me realise Nigerians are training beasts in human form. One very lesson I learnt today is the wickedness we have being trained to have in this country. Imagine a protest about a boy that died and some criminals went on attacking eataries, filling stations carting away money and goods. Is that part of the solidarity protest?

Many people saw it as fun and majority of the overzealous protesters are from 100l who were so happy to witness it. May the deceased continue to rest in peace in the bossom of the Lord!

PRESS RELEASE
The ‎Authorities of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba, Akoko Ondo State, Nigeria, has announced the immediate closure of the institution.

This followed the destruction of properties within and outside the University premises by some students over the death of a student who was involved in an accident involving a commercial motorcycle outside the University Campus on Friday 8, April, 2016.

The ongoing examinations is also immediately suspended while all students are to leave the campus and halls of residence immediately.

Students would be informed when to resume for the completion of their on-going examination at a later date.

The management has also set up a panel to look into the protest so as to guide against such occurrence in future.

Parents and guardians are hereby informed of this development.

Which school is AAUA? As they are destroying things over there, they should also be prepared to pay reparation fees. There are better ways to solve an issue, not by violence alone.

Although I know the only language our leaders understand is violence.

RIP to the dead.

This one na small uniport protest is loading on Monday.

Imagine the stupid new VC giving students deadline to pay school fees in a Federal University, failure to pay, forget about the session and that's an extra year.

The Vice Chancellor, on behalf of the Senate has directed that the University be closed down immediately.

The University is hereby closed down till further notice.
The closure was due to indiscriminate destruction of properties within and outside the University premises by some students.
