I think he has a point here... why do u have to borrow money since you claimed to have retracted about 2.1 trillionn naira as of February thru TSA,brought back about 750million naira from the Switzerland bank and money from d probe of corrupt leaders like Dasuki etc. the government claimed many of em have returned about huge amount of money..,, if the story transparency is thru. then we have no need to borrow

Fayose really means business o. But some of his points are valid anyway. Why do we need $2billion loan when they've told us $4.5 billion will be generated this year?

Somebody has to speak up and very fast at and Fayose did so very commendably.
Why borrow $6 billion, bulk of it as infrastructure loan denominated in Yuan enslaving Nigeria to China permanently without options.

You are seeking to borrow close to $10 billion this year to finance your budget deficit in an economy servicing debt with 25% of it's income driving the servicing to anything above 35% in a few years time & worse still you are borrowing to partly finance overhead.

budget, now, what happens to d money? keep it till it can be used while interests accumulate. two, with all d money d fg has been reportedly raking in, from TSA to anti corruption war, y shud we procure more loans wen we have other debts on ground.
the point Fayose missed is this, China will grant d loan not cause they want to see Nigeria succeed, but because they have something to benefit from it.

He made some vital points though, if all the monies realized from TSA and the ones recovered from looters can be use instead of borrowing. Transfer of technology is the best offer the Chinise govt can do for Nigeria.
