It can be very frustrating when you have prospect that is willing to send funds to you through PayPal but can't receive it

Guys I'm having difficulty in exchanging my PayPal funds to Naira.
The introduction of PayPal in Nigeria has lead to low demand of Paypal fund request by Nigerians since they can now easily make payment via their Nigeria PayPal account which is linked to a debit card.
Although, a nigerian paypal account can make payment to merchants, but it cannot send money to any other PayPal account.
Also, it cannot receive payments let alone withdraw to bank/debit card. What this means is that money only goes out of our economy but cannot return through same process. lipsrsealed

Now what's the way forward for online workers and internet marketers who have PayPal funds and want to withdraw/exchange.

Is the introduction of PayPal in Nigerian a Blessing, Curse or not Economically friendly?

I need your opinion/assistance.
The emboldened part which I highlighted is wrong, actually. You can send money to anyone and anywhere. The only thing is you can not receive funds.

Paypal has made my business a lot easy. I only make payments and receive my goods. I think only Yahoo boys should bother about receiving funds undecided

Its a privilege using PayPal account here in Nigeria at this time of our economy, I do not need to buy dollars to fund my dorm account to make payments for my equipments anymore, I just ask to pay with PayPal and that's all. Though my bank Charges me about N299.6 but it's still an advantage to me.

They knew what they was doing when they finally allowed paypal in nigeria, they knew nigerians are scamgerians,so it took em time to think and re-think before they could let paypal thrive here with so much restrictions and in their favour...do we use paypal? Yes!! Can a nigerian receive fund through paypal? No!,Only if our leaders could think like these people until then its still gonna be captivity of negativity
If only our govt is wise they will mop up such earnings and use it to meet the needs of importers who want Dollars at a fair rate that's between CBN rate and open market rate. The owner and direct earner of such fund could import things with it also . . .

Its this our useless CBN causing all these issues naaaa. PayPal had submitted an application to CBN in that regards but its still being processed just like many others submitted. I can imagine CBN requesting all sort of useless documents grin - CV of directors, TIN, IT Policy, Audited Account, 3 years Tax Clearance Certificate etc from PayPal and PayPal ofricials will be like wtf tongue

Well, if there wasn't a God, it would have been necessary to invent him.

First of all it is a matter of time before they will start allowing nigerians rto receive ,this is the same way they started in many countries. They. Are still perfecting their system here and looking to see how Nigerians accept them,if the figures are encouraging then why won't they allow receive it. Imagine 1million nigerians having paypal account ,definitely like 50k will be receiving. Cash that means more comission for them . We are always in a rush but the white man doesn't rush they always like to do their findings very well. For internet marketers , u will have to be flexible and adapt to the new change,I think an avenue of change is helping ppl create online stores . There will definitely be an increase of demand for this when the paypal receiving option is enabled . cing!
You are wrong paypal has restriction policy that why they are still on and they are not willing to loose that integrity for any commission my ass.

PayPal is useless and if you knew how terrible their security is you'd stop using their services.

PayPal in Nigeria is limited to making payments only.
You can't receive funds. So, a Nigerian PP is so useless to me currently.
I'd rather stick with using my US PP account which allows me to pay, receive & withdraw funds.
