I have observed kalabari women wear their Kalabari attire even if they are married to a man from another tribe

its amazing

most times Nigerian women will wear the same trad wear as their husbands tribe @special occasions and their childrens' wedding
and even change their first names to their husbands' tribe

but kalabari dont do all that

its amazing, how they have so much pride in their culture
and I even heard Kalabari women when they die, they have to be buried at their hometown and not their spouse's hometown

Well, there are two types of weddings in Kalahari land the first one I can't remember the name but the second one is Iya. When a man does that one, the woman becomes his totally and she can be buried in his place after her death.

which part of the country are they from
South. They are Riverine people from Rivers state.
