They are mainly spreadtrum phone and almost unrootable, imei is hard to change on many models. currently using itel1407, speakers is zero, battery power bullshit.

I've rooted mine it1550 with kingroot
when trying to root yours, make sure you've a very strong internet connection if not it won't work
same goes for every rooting app u want to try

Itel is always tha bomb with good ba3.

Whats wrong with these manufacturers, 5.5inch screen requires 1080p.

i play hd games on my phone which requires 1080p and above for 5.5inch. 720p is ok for only 5inch and below. This phone got 720p for 5.5inch, its low. And i just like high pixel screens.
and pls when you play games(any game) do the on-screen keys go?

just found out that its not all the games you play on it can go into complete full screen which is as a result of the programming of the game but will always go into complete full screen when watching movies

I've rooted it,
used my flash drive on it,
charged a friend's phone with it,
I've been able to do everything possible except change IMEI and as I tried to do that xpose notified me that it can't perform IMEI change on a Spreadtrum Android Lollipop powered processor and I can try again later in future

Must I have it rooted in order to enjoy it fully?

not really
I rooted mine so as to enable me uninstall some pre-installed apps
nothing more than that

Seems this is the best Itel product so far, the upcoming Itel 1556 is 512mb ram, 480* 754 resolution n 5mp camera.
