To be a good investigator, you should train yourself to have the mind of an investigator, mind of a criminal and mind of a Lawyer. Do a retreat for yoursel. Ask yourself questions ---what is called likely questions, that Lawyers may ask you. Understand that cross examination is not for you to be comfortable but for you to mess up. He is just a bad product in a bad market. If an investigator is billed to come to court to testify in any case. especially an high profile case as this, they go into a room, there he will be schooled before he comes to the court. Otherwise, Wetkas will wet his khaki and panties in the court. Wait till Agabi takes on him again.

This is definitely not part of the assignment, it must have been smuggled in by saraki mole in Efcc to make the witness not credible. The case is about asset declaration and I guess that's wetkam assignment. You don't expect him to know about all the cases.

This is the most unfortunate thing that happen so far in the trial. Nuhu Bako was even aware that as a witness lined up by the prosecutor he was not allowed to listen to the testimony of others. His breach of the rules of trial was deliberate.

In a civilized country the Judge will declare a mistrial and this case unfortunately will be over.

I would put the total blame on Wetkas. I blame his counsel. They ALWAYS prepare their clients for cross examinations. Like they say in the common palace, do you bid and have your lawyer find the loophole for adjustment where necessary. I have read some law books (few) and I have seen in most movies. You can find in how to get away with murder and America crime story (the people vs Oj Simpson)
