God has been my help n i hv prepared myself psychologically since i unstd hubby's nature of job so it helped a bit.
Things i do that reduce my work load.
1)i buy food stuff in bulk so it reduces the rate at wc i go to market.
2) i cook soup once in 2wks cos we hv constant light wer i live so i cook n freeze.
3) i wash my cloth n baby cloth wit washing machine even though ppl tell me nt to wash baby's cloth with machine. Me cant come n kill myself with work
4)i sweep the house once in a week since its me n baby alone for a whole month n my house is always lookin clean cos i pick dirty as soon as i see one.
5)once any family or friend call me that they are comin to see me i use the opportunity to ask them to get me things i need then i gv them back the money once they come.
6)my baby is a light sleeper during the day but sleep well at night wc help me to rest also.
am lucky to always hv my siblings around once they are on break

Sorry about your plight dear. I work from home but i try as much as possible to reduce stress especially with home cleaning. There's a guy who comes to clean my house regularly. He just comes, cleans everywhere and go. At first, dh didn't like the idea but when he saw how respectful and honest the guy is, he didnt complain anymore. The guy was working with a cleaning company but is now on his own. He mops the floor, arranges clothes, washes bathroom with chemicals, cleans kitchen, cleans fridge, cleans fans and windows. And he charges 4k.
Just use professional pple like that and you'll enjoy it.
The only ish i still have is cooking because light is almost non-existent here. So i cook almost every two days. Dh sometimes helps out too tho, in helping me to do stuff like pick beans, make eba, warm soup and lay bed. I pray he continues even when baby comes. Lol

Weneva I'm on leave, it's always terrible n dh can come back n d 1st question he ll ask is wat av u been doing since mrn? 4 career mamas, I can drop off my lo @ d creche, do small work in d office nd even sleep depends on how busy or not my day is n still come home n feign tiredness n d man ll b like let's just eat wat I available cos he feels uv had a long day. I can feel your pain. Staying alone with a crying baby is such a very energy consuming duty. I passed through that stage too just that my baby resumed creche early which made the DAY easier so I do all works and rest well before he comes home because I don't go to work everyday when I first resumed. As other mamas have advised, you have to learn to cook and do house chores once in a week. I was only my baby clothes every afternoon while I keep mine for a week. If you have a washing machine, it will be easier for you. Don't give pap because it's too early. I suggest you start with formula. My baby cries a lot too then before we discovered he is always hungry so I started supplementing with formula and from there I graduate to cereal when he reached 4 months.

Pele dearie, it's a phase you will soon pass so please hang in there and remember you have to be strong for your baby.

For the house help thing, I say NO to live-in help but you can get someone who will just come to wash, sweep, arrange probably once in a week.

Teamie, the best placenta presentation is posterior. This enables you to feel baby kicks early enough and does not also block the birth canal. Sometimes though, the placenta maybe anterior at the beginning of the pregnancy but as the pregnancy progresses, it moves up as it was the case in your second pregnancy. If it remains anterior till delivery time, the implication is that it will block the birth canal making it difficult or impossible for the baby to pass thro the cervix to the vagina. It usually necessitates a CS. But not to worry, keep an open mind . Yours till has time to move up. It will move up as it did in your previous pregnancy. ...Best wishes

@ missmalachi, You can wash baby's cloth in the washing machine but load only her cloth per wash and don't join it with yours or older kids clothes ( I know you don't have older kids o lol) that's wat I do mostly. Some washing machine have "baby wash" for washing baby clothes gently

I dont think you should be worried.
Anterior means your placenta is in front of the baby in the womb. The placenta cushions the baby kicks.
Posterior means the placenta is at the behind the baby and your baby kicks you directly.

Even before scan told me at mid-pregnancy, I knew mine was anterior cos I would just feel baby wriggle and no serious kicks.

Please, did your placenta move up later, and when did it move?
I'm seriously worried. Will be 31weeks tomorrow and mine hasn't moved at all... It's anterior, low lying...

As 4 indigestion, my body hav programmed me on 2days on poo n 1day off poo.
I hav nt taken my taken my second dose of fansidar. I was prescribed for early dis mnth bt scared of taking it because my last experience was nt funny at all. Dat suit turned me into an airforce marshal at night. My bed was flying wt me n d room was turning round + I had serious fever n weakness. Who had taken her second dose n is it compulsory?

tatacherie, dear i understand u. U need to get a washing machine to help u.
Dh waa around with my 1st baby so we didnt get help and we sweep once weekly, lucky there's light so i cook for the month and freeze.
Go to work very early and come back in the evening. Now with ds, dh isnt around again so i got a help that comes in the morning and goes wen i return, she washes dishes, sweeps and mops, irons my cloth and cook /warm the food.
U need to make ur work easy. And learn to overlook somethings. I and dh before kids can sweep like 10 times a day but now we have learnt to overlook. There is no super woman o. Abeg rest well.

Beedam, i too dont really like live in. But some people may not be able to do without it depends on their situation.

@tatacherie, just follow d advice u hv bn given here already and b4 u know it, u will develop a routine dat works for u. Come to think of it too, I haven't seen u in church for some weeks now.

Have you tried substituting okro for ewedu.
At least you can buy like 3 days own, 3 fingers should be enough for daily use.
Okro is easier to cook, more delicious and nutritious too.
Unless you dont eat okro.
