Bros, thanks for the picture. I don't want to talk too much about this but a smart person ask questions about what he doesn't know rather than assuming that he knows that and insults people on top.

'Joker of the century' that is too hard because it seems you are new to satellite since you think it's impossible. What you don't know don't get involved. Because they are East and West, two opposite sides, you think it's impossible. Some guys here use more of their time insulting people than learning.

Stop abusing logic. I'm educating you about satellite. Its impossible to use a small single dish in a static position to track 7e and 7w here in Nigeria. Anyone who has done it on 0.9m dish should post it here, then I'll accept. No one is an island of knowledge

I've been into satellite stuff for over a decade since the days of Analogue. I'll ask you a simple question about a satellite, which I'm sure you wouldn't be able to decipher

Stop saying what you don't know

Not in today's market. Ground mount dish that seems to be the cheapest can't be gotten for less than 11k.
Also most dishes being sold in Alaba or Oshodi are fake. Supermax that they would write 185cm on the carton is actually 170cm

The only dishes that are original are strong branded dishes or the olden days panorama

I have combined 3w, 7w and 21w on one 90cm dish, which I posted here. Now, can you tell that the distance between 7e and 7w is greater than the distance 3w and 21w. East and West don't matter in satellite, distance is what matters most, of course I am not sure you know that if not you won't be arguing.

What do you even mean by small dish. You mean 90cm can't do it and you still claim to have been in satellite world over a decade. That means you didn't and still don't know what you are doing and to say you are educating me is an insult as well.

Why the arguments here?
Question is can you track 7e and 7w together on a 90cm dish?

The answer is yes. I can prove it. This argument will help a lot of people tomorrow. If anyone thinks it's not possible, I will like to know why.

What nonsense is this?

Post the pics of a tracked 7w and 7e on 0.9m dish and stop chasing shadows.

There too many kids here, who can't understand simple English, and you're one of them

This part shows your level of ignorance.

Satellites on the same cardinal point can be tracked. I.e combining all possible satellites on East and doing same for the west.

Hope you know East and west are at right angles to north and south, with east being in the clockwise direction of rotation from north and west being directly opposite east.

Stop talking nonsense.

Just go to any part in Nigeria, where anyone has tracked 7e and 7w using 0.9m static dish. I'm not arguing with you, cos it obvious you're on about frivolity

I don't want a stolen and unempirical pictures from the internet.

These days when people can track easy satellites like 36 east, 28e, 7e, they believe they've arrived.

I'm opened to learning new stuff. Anyone who has done it in Nigeria and not posting pictures obtained from the web should post it here.

Very simple

1. 9e in South East, Delta state with one metre is impossible, you need 2.4 solid and above.
2. Yes, Sports 24 is still alive but on 1.8m and above.
3. Adding 7e to 7w is possible to it won't be easy.
4. SES 5 has good channels, it depends on what you are looking for. If it's sports then forget it, but if it's variety then you are good to go. SABC 1 of South Africa is currently free to Air. I loved that Channel when it was free on Cband. You can get it and other channels on SES 5.
5. Continental is available in Nigeria only ABS 3 at 3w but it's been scrambled for a while now, though they open up occasionally.

.
Thank u very much my broda. God bless u.

Bros, if the reason why you think it's impossible is because they face opposite side then I think you don't know satellite like you claim you know. Satellite is all about distance between each other not where they are facing, you need to learn this because you can become fit enough to argue with me.

Just shut up. I'm not on about whether any satellite face north, east, south or west. Just go ahead to prove that your .9m dish can help you get 7e and 7w in a static position. If you can't prove it, forever remain mute

Keep on exhibiting high level of ignorance. May be you have comprehension issues and failed to read my post about Cardinal point Satellites that are trackable with a static dish, if not you wouldn't be talking about distance

'Kids'. Very funny of you to say that, this is purely constructive argument that I am putting up to you and it seems obvious that you are not fit enough for such thing. And you call it kids thing. This is why guys like you will do satellite for 50 years and still no nothing. Trust me you need to go back to basics.

Yes. You're a kid and exhibiting ignorance.

You made a claim, yet its taking you forever to post a strong evidence to back up your claim.
Some people here are intellectually sound and not bereft of ideas like you.

What are you waiting for? Go ahead and track your 7e and 7w. Or the sun is melting that you're afraid of exploration?

Until you can do it, just keep mute forever

I told him if satellite is about the distance not Cardinal point, then I have done 3w and 21w, which I believe is far bigger than 7e and 7w and again I have seen pictures of 3w and 5e from several people on this forum. I don't have to burn myself in the sun to prove anything to someone who doesn’t deserve it.
What baffles me is how he has been in satellite work for a decade yet he doesn't know basics of satellite. I don't know what he has been tracking.

You're really missing the gist.
On 130cm and bigger dishes, you can perform wonders, including motorising your set.

The focal point here is on 0.9m dish in a static position

My dish at home is motorised and I have over 3000 channels from over 10 Satellites in eastern and western positions. 7e, 7 w, 36e, 22w etc
