Though similar in design, there is a slight difference btw agbada and danshiki. Agbada is to the yorubas what danshiki is to the hausa. The danshiki is less bulky compared to agbada due to the excessive heat upnorth...mind u, am not saying hausas dont wear agbada and yorubas dont wear danshiki.
