Sorry right from the time I applied for this position I said if they drop me at any stage it is not the end of the world. There are a lot of jobs out there if Etisalat doesn't employ you trust me a hair won't fall out of your body.

If I had another job offer I will drop this job in a heart beat cos during my buddy session I never envied any of the staff you could clearly see they were unhappy cause the way the customers talk sef fit give you hypertension then your supervisor go dey bombard you with mails.

Please move on God has a better offer for you cause they way Etisalat has started treating people is so unfair, imagine someone doing medicals since 6th April and they don't call you but you see people who did medicals on 16th April getting resumption mails haba that's harsh.

Hmmm...Bombard with mails ke??

Bro is the Job that stressful?? m doing somefin like that here in Ibadan, the pay, stress and working hours is so crazie compared to the gist am hearing bout Etisalat... Mehn.. ur post dropped my Jaw, m confused.

BtW, #Team14th...Buddy session Mushin 2mao 8am and Friday 9pm....holla.

It's high time this thread was closed...so many kids just ranting here. Patience, una no get! Discretion, una no get! Courtesy, una still no get! It's the same people blabbing on about how they think the whole recruitment process is unfair, that are always complaining like there whole life depends on it. Etisalat as far as I know, owes nobody any explanation for how it conducts it's recruitment. I will just drop it here! A word they say is enough for the wise!

We Nigerians are the cause of our problems. Yes they owe us an explanation if this was another country I can sue them for emotional distress and get paid in millions.

Do you think it is easy to spend 4years or more in school? Calculate your feeding, accommodation etc. When you finish some people will just be riding on you because of work. Why are they having 6-7 stages and end up dropping people at the final stage after suffering people traveled far and wide for this job.

Don't say that abeg everyone is entitled to express their emotions.

for anybody who cares to know, the etisalat customer care job truly may not be the best but i can tell you from experience that its the best of all telecoms customer reps....Airtel pays 40k in Abeokuta with transport and free health.try and make call out via their Avaya, you get two weeks suspension with no pay...but etisalat comes with 15k credit limit and free data.lets not evenctalk about empty N"........in all patience is al you need for the job.

I think i could consider myself as being experienced because i have worked for about 1 year+ now(if not more). Please don't think they pick only fresh graduates as i heard some of u have 'reported'. I'ld give my reason, the lady whom i said was next in line after me on interview day got her medical invite, and she definitely isn't a fresh graduate(I tend to know one when i speak with them),and is even way older than I . Moreover, she said when she first attempted the CBT, she got a regret mail, she just pushed it aside. some days later, she got another invite for CBT without re-applying! and here she is doing her medicals. My advice is this, u guys should just quit troubling your little heads over this issue. If you are called, fine, if not, so be it. take my word for it, anxiety does nothing to relieve you of pain.

I already thought i lost out long before even getting to this stage, not because i wasn't capable, but because of another circumstance which i have explained earlier on this thread. I am a bit unhappy because i lost a nice job while giving this recruitment process my undivided attention. Its just sad if i loose on both ends.

Actually i was thinking in that direction but u just gave me a contrary view. Guys on this thread has been brainstorming on the basis in which candidates are being screened and dropped at various stages for instance a guy beside me during the cbt that performed exceptionally well in all phases didn't make it to d buddy stage and so also others except those dat reapplied and got called back. Talking about the interview, not we all that buddied same day same shift that got interviewed same day infact some names were selectively printed and invited while the rest had to go and come back the next day and interviewed without invite so as it is now the hope of those that their names were omitted initially is in etisalat hand.

....So u see....My advice still remains, concentrate on other things, its better that way.

U guys should seriously quit ur brain storming, it aint cute! so long as you are not an interviewer.

At the time of my PPA, when invites was sent for CBT, i wasn't called along side my batch, that was when i told myself, 'it's because u kept trying to finish the questions, even when the system kept logging you out every 10 mins that's the reason u weren't called''. My network was on a slow motion mission that day.

....I lost a job with Heritage/ Sterling Bank just before invitation for medicals came in, believe me, i was shaken but i picked up the pieces and continued. Not like i'm trying to blow any trumpets here, but I apply for jobs and get called almost every time, although i'm a bit selective in joining an organization as i was sincerely dealt with in my former employments.

I really am tired of viewing this thread and/or refreshing my mail. what ever will be, will MOST DEFINITELY be. Move ahead and stop trying to rationalize every of their moves. I'm sure some of them would just keep reading and laughing at how trashy this thread has become, I know this because the day I was to do my buddy the guy who addressed us(name withheld), actually mentioned the monikers of some wailing wailers here......
