Won't take them serious until Donald Trumps Republican party is included.

Mjshexy:
Umar should just step down let another person handle this saraki's case, we are tired of the attention it's getting where as more important issues that needs to be debated are totally ignored, Nigeria is in dire need of a swift economic revitalization because everything looks gloomy at the moment. God bless our nation...

Pls nobody is saying saraki should not face prosecution or jailed if found wanting on corruption but a judge without blemish should handle d case.Umar case with efcc is still pending bcs anti corrupt agency said they have not finished their investigation. It is better for another judge to take over than to gives saraki loopholes to fight back.
what news outlet did you get that from?...he was discharged of all charges even b4 GEJ left the post and the accusation was against one of his entourage or staff not him.....and has he been charged to court?
Re: Saraki’s Trial: 17 Political Parties Ask CCT Judge To Resign by Decrozz(m): 9:49am On Apr 28, 2016
Saraki lacks the moral sense to question Danladi's integrity. This is all a case of corruption fighting back. My hope in a better Nigeria would be rekindled if Saraki is finally convicted.

Ogun kill those political parties, may Ahmadioha fire them. Umar is not resigning for what? No evidence against him and he had been cleared before.

The 17 political parties should also tell their master Saraki to resign as well, abi na saint he be?

Re: Saraki’s Trial: 17 Political Parties Ask CCT Judge To Resign by OrlandoOwoh(m): 9:59am On Apr 28, 2016
Nonsense. Umar has been cleared by the EFCC. It's right for PMB to investigate the clean bill given to Umar by the EFCC, but wrong for the same PMB to purnish army officers involved in the Ekiti State election?

[size=28pt]Danladi umar had mercy on saraki lawyer in that video. Danladi umar was suppose to jail saraki lawyer , saraki lawyer is expected to do 1 week in prison. This is the correct procedure

A judge is not under saraki.

When see the court houses, it shows how bad the education system is.

Saraki have no power to appoint a judge.

Umar who isn't under trial should step down for a well documented corrupt leach to walk away free.

From Kwara to Panama his breath reeks of faeces.

These political parties who sold their 'votes' to PDP during the last elections as attested to by Olu Falae appear to be testing the resolve of the Nigerian masses.

Should the game kickoff, they would surely rue the day they made any suggestions.

A word is good enough.
That should tell you how deranged many has become.

Kog45, Saraki is not ready to face justice. His team of 80 SAN would find another loophole to exploit if Umar resign today. We should stop wasting our time in Nigeria and just legalise corruption when the judge finally succumb the pressure to resign
Re: Saraki’s Trial: 17 Political Parties Ask CCT Judge To Resign by Femiiroko: 10:21am On Apr 28, 2016
It is highly unfortunate for a reasonable human being to be calling on danladi umar to step aside over sarmraki prosecution. And this shows that all political parties for his step aside are corrupted parties. Most unfortunate among them is Gani Fawehinmi party that is among them. If they succeed in this they make saraki their presidential candidate in 2019 to share our of his booty.

I think what you seek is a technical way to stall the trial.

Nobody is fooled.

As long as your suggestions do not include Saraki stepping down it smacks of bias.

You cannot go around digging dirt on a trial judge as a means of defending long years of graft you are associated with.

The judge has a single allegation against him which long before this government came into power he got a no-case-to-answer notice.

The senate president who has tons of allegations from Kwara to Panama should however keep his seat?

I'm sorry since many choose to stand logic on its head no reasonable person would follow, this case would continue with the same trial judge.

Saraki would be convicted.

He would take the matter to the appeal court and once again the verdict would simply be for judgement to be upheld.

Saraki has chosen the most unreasonable path and that path must lead to his destruction.
What petition are they even talking about against Umar? The so-called petition was written by Anti-corruption network and guess who is the founder? Senator Dino Melaye . just Google Anti-corruption network and see.

When the petition was been entertained at the house of Reps the petitioners were invited more than five time to come and throw more lights on their allegations and they ( Dino Melaye & co) refused to show up. When you institute a case in the court of law and you as the prosecutor refused to show up in court won't the court struck out the case ? That was exactly what happened because the petition was struck out.

You can't even pretend to be neutral so other gullible Nairalanders can reason with you not knowing that you are just struggling for your daily bread.

Umar should step down for a Judge that can be manipulated.

What a shame.

Foolish people will stone or burn or cut off the hand of a poor man who steam handset without blinking but calling for a Judge to resign because in their words "He is a thief and can not try a thief" really!

Why has Saraki not stepped down as senate president?

You are calling for a judge that has not been indicted of any charges, not been charged and has no pending investigation to step down from Saraki's trial yet you say nothing about the refusal of Saraki who has been indicted and has an ongoing trial, and is still serving as senate president. Isn't that double standards?

The fact is Saraki wants Umar out of the way so they can influence the trial. It sickens me when I see young Nigerians supporting this kind of behaviour and still hope for a better Nigeria

SpeakforBS2016,

Which bow? Where? Na wah for misrepresentation ooo!

You will cease to speak for Bull Shyte at the end of today, when the latest attempt to stall this case is dumped into the bin like all others before it...

You lots are beyond ridiculous, Umar who has no case established against him should stand down while a formally charged SP that has brought the senate to disrepute should continue, right

The attempt by Saraki to
A. Continue to stall proceedings.

B. Choose a pliable judge.... will not work!!! #checkmate.

All he needs to do is to prove how he came by his unexplainable riches & other charges, that shouldn't be hard since he is only being "persecuted"..dazall
Sincerely speaking, I wish the point in bold could be done not just by Saraki but also by Tinubu and Obasanjo, the richest politicians in the SW.
