Hi everyone, hope the weekend is splendid?

Ok, back to serious topic. Our connection with the internet and our smart phones has changed the way we are supposed to feel and think. I know Social Media plays a big role in LDR, connect people, bla bla bla but it also has its negatives.
Now, i'm going to talk about how this affects me PERSONALLY and i'm sure some people feel the same way.

1. Jealousy; In relationships these days, we follow each other everywhere twitter, facebook, IG, Nl, Whatsapp etc a guy posts pics of another female or vice versa, you see your partner flirting in DMs, and the rest. Yeah, jealousy is a normal part of every relationship and It's ok to be jealous sometimes but when you notice its beginning to hurt your partner, you have to put an effort to stop acting that way but many of us don't care.


2. If someone doesn't text us back immediately, we feel we are not important enough for them to respond. We don't even bother to think the person may not be ok, not be with his/her phone, is busy or any other thing.

3. Some people even check their phones and pick calls during sex...how disrespectful!

4. You guys won't believe i was tweeting and checking my mentions on Nl in church today. Lord have mercy

How has the Social Media and Technology affected your relationships negatively?

Well, I am not ın any relationship so I really cant put in any words in that aspect of your write-up.

I really cant say for others but I am of the opinion that the effect of the internet şolely depends on yöur individual ştate of mind. I mean, you have the ability to constraint yourself from indulging too much in the internet. The internet has two faces- the pretty face and the ugly face. The one you chose to fall in love with sub-conşciously defineş who you are in the real word. In summary, it all depends on our individual preferenceş- its either you fall in love with the pretty face and get addicted to the good yields or fall in love with the latter and watch you succumb and get drawn to the dark side. The bullet word here is INDIVIDUAL PREFERENCE. CC: layla129

Well the internet/social media affected me in a few ways, changed my views about relationships, even made me loose some trust for the one I love, yet thought me some useful tips as well and aided me in meeting amazing friends like u Layla129 and AirSultan my boss...
