Over the years i have considered wedding vows as non biblical and a kind of a curse or wishing a man and a woman bad things in their married life. Now how can i vow to my wife on our wedding day that i will be with her for better for worse, for richer for poor, in sickness and in health. "THAT is nonsence to me, and i think it kind of affect the couples somehow in their married life. its like they are wishing themself bad, now this has nothing to do with if i truly love her. "i was telling my mom that on my wedding day, the vows will be change to for better for the best, for richer for richest, in good health and in prosperity. as in that is how im going to do my own. It is a blessing when you keep those vows and a curse when you break them. The vows are nothing short of the traditional oath taking and so it must take its toll. PERSONAL CONFESSION: I did my utmost to dodge repeating some verses that has to do with cheating after my pastor because at that material moment, I was still keeping one gal. |

From you planning your marriage yourself to wedding dress/suit, bridal train abi okada,  inviting guest abi gbogbo apapo eleye going to court or shrine, wedding rings and vow. The JOLLOF rice and cake and efritin. My friend it is my pleasure to let you know none of it is biblical not even quranical but we do it anyway not that it makes us a sinner or a saint. But the only the thing I think is biblical and even quranical is our parents blessing on our marriage. That's when both family approve of our union.
