I have no new found faith. It is impossible to have ALL the truths to life. But in the main time I have gotten rid of some LIEs I used to believe in and now I can focus on being honest with myself.

4. You also said the GREAT COMMISSION was a scam. (Mind you, God didn't put the burden on Christ to round the world to preach or save all men. Neither did Christ put it on any one disciple to reach the ends of the world with the gospel. Christ's part finished on the cross and the disciples were commanded to make disciples and teach them to do the same thing.) Since you claim you have found the truth, why now don't you want to spread the truth and save humanity, because in an earlier post you preferred you were few that knew the truth?

some lies are necessary and christianity gives a sense of hope. So it's better many keep living in that false security.

They are still real to me. I don't disbelief in any of them, I believe in the power of prayers, I believe in healings and I believe in speaking in tongues.

All very good messages not unique to christianity. The core gospel is that god so loved the world that he sent his son jesus to die for the sins of the world. That is the lie.
The bible teaches a lot of principles but all claims about god are the lies (since god does not exist)

we can learn core values that would make the society organized and lawful from all cultures. The yoruba culture has a lot of good values so does the chinese and so on. So we can keep the good values therein just like we keep that of other cultures around the world

Suffering is natural if you remove god from the equation. I have no problem with sufferings in the world. I have problem with the claim that there is a god that is all loving all powerful blah blah blah...

We should take responsibility as humans for the sufferings we inflict on each other thru wars, selfishness and inconsideration.

We should take natural disasters as natural disasters not act of god or the devil or because adam sinned.

Suffering is inevitable for now.

I can still pray for you and it would work IF you don't know I am an atheist.
Praying helps people thru pains. It is a way of showing good will.
It is also a way of giving hope to people.

Miraculous healings can happen if you can trick the body. (Not gonna talk too much about this now). But sort of like the placebo effect.

Speaking in tongues is no biggie. Just let your mind loose and say whatever comes to your mind.

Paul prayed for something three times, he did not get the answer he wanted.
2Co 12:8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

They prayed for Timothy to be well, later on they had to tell him to take medicine for his infirmity. Trophimus was left at Miletus sick. David prayed and fasted for his sick son and the son died. And so many others. So someone coming here acting all shocked and becoming atheist because God did not answer his prayers was grossly ignorant of the Word of God. If you like from today till you die, ask God in faith to destroy hell fire, it will not be done. But God said you should ask anything in Jesus' name, or ask to be the president of the US. It is not everybody that will get a yes to that.

About the blind man not been healed, i cannot say why. Maybe healing the man's eyes wasn't a priority for God. Maybe God even helped him. Come to think of it, the blind man might actually still be a strong believer or may have died as one. Meanwhile, someone whose ego wasn't pampered is here weeping more than the bereaved. Maybe, his eyes can take eternal life away from him, and God just left him that way to see the kingdom. Because in Bible, if your eye or hand etc offend you, cut it off as it were. Affliction and afflicted people are usually close to God and trust God and believe God than people who have no challenges. Annie Johnson Flint was a paraplegic who served God despite much affliction, a story is quite a touching one. And so are many others.

Hmmm .... Paul prayed three times for a need, David's son died even after praying for him, the bind man in the posters case didn't receive his sight despite all the prayers. Yet there are many more similar cases as u stated. Just one question... What is the lesson to be learnt from unanswered prayers? What is God's objective for not answering prayers?
You might say we don't know God's mind right? This answer (if u use it) is synonymous to "it has no objective".

But can't u just see beyond the box? It's just coincidence. Good and bad thing happens to anybody... No one is special, I mean if u claim to be a special child of the almighty creator, with access to all the goody goodies promised in the Bible... Why are u still living in the uncertainty of this world. Why would God not heal the blind man and still not tell the pastor anything?

No excuses... God be like... "I wil not chose to answer, even if u pray down fire, even if u have faith bigger than mountain, I will only answer at my own time and I own u no explanation. But if u get frustrated, I will burn u in hell"
