Niger Delta Avengers will be willing to dialogue, but Buhari would rather beg Boko Haram to come for dialogue even when it's clear they don't want. There is so much hypocrisy in this country. Nigeria will NEVER get better from what I'm seeing.
listen and bet me,those hailing Buhari now, will be the worst hit when the fire is on.
the Nigerian economy is heading to zero level with the way Buhari is displaying his ethnic and tribal bigotry

What has the Niger delta benefitted from this oil? A visit to the oil producing communities will make you understand the plight of this people caused by people like pmb.during my NYSC days I was posted to Burutu local govt in delta state, this people use sachet water to bath, cook and many other households because the rivers are covered with oil and up till now govt has done nothing.so its better you stop crying cos those guys are ready die and they know the creek very well more than the Nigerian military and are well funded, well connected and coordinated and the more the military engages in fight with them the more they are having back the repentant militants because its fun to be home once more.
Using force will not benefit both parties ask OBJ.Dialog would've been a better strategy since the war has started already, though a preventable war but the govt wants drag the country back to 1999 when we should be moving forward, if care is not taken pmb will spend his 4 yrs only fighting preventable wars,Nigerians want peace but PMB does not,all he wants is to deal with the SS and SE from 5%-95% to appointments issues, there is a very heavy military presence in Both regions of the country while these are the most accommodative and peaceful people in Nigeria, why using the military to suppress them?PMB is the worst thing that has happened to this country and with his attitude he will end up destroying the country.

My brother May God bless you. That Silly president would open so much wars and spend so much on fighting wars that at the end of his tenure he would have achieved nothing.

I am not against fighting for your land BUT BUT and BUT what did the fight carried out by Tompolo and co bring to the average Niger Deltan aside enriching themselves?

Let him fight the war once and for all. After the war we would have peace of minimum 30 years like before anyone can start useless militancy if at all their condition remain thesame.

Ask the South East people and you will agree.

Enough of the yearly threat and blackmail of Sovereign govt.

These militants are seeking to make noise so they can negotiate? To get free beer parlour and hotel money? Oya blow the oil pipeline de go. Your swamps are already unattractive and polluted and yet you polluting more? future generations will be proud of you for your contribution to their own poverty.
My advice to FG and Chevron is to NOt repair blown pipelines and let these lazy fools continue to pollute and degrade their homeland. One day una go frustrate Chevron and others and the pack go their peaceful developed lands while ND swamps go de more broke, more sick bc of pollution.

First of all, tell your APC to apologise to the region for Buhari's description about them as 5%.
The reason why I am angry with Buhari is that phrase "5%".
By that statement, he sees us as conquered region.
Secondly, tell your Buhari to be careful about characters like Timipre Sylva, Michael Johnny, Ayiri Emami etc. These are the people behind this bombing just to rob Tompolo. You can hate Tompolo or like him, but he remains how leader. He is the only one, I repeat only one who can put an end to this vandalism. He single handedly fought Buhari's army brought by Timipre Sylva to Bayelsa for the governorship election. The major reason Tompolo is being pursued today is because of his refusal to support Timipre Sylva in the aforementioned election.

Hmm....
Conspiracy theories, Propanganda , ..........
This issue of militancy would linger for quite sometime.

Don't mind the guy saying APC friendly militants!!Obsanjo tried forceand failed,Yaradua tried force and failed before he finally initiated the amnesty program. The NDA have tabled reasonable demands, the government should look into it
They did not fail.Did they for one day declare a state of emergency in the area? That is when you will see what force feels like. Only a lunatic takes pleasure in killing especially when they are your countrymen and the state is being run by the party at the centre. Besides everyone agrees that the Delta was treated unfairly. To then interpret that as a failure of force is strange logic. Force is what wa deployed against Boko Haram. The entire state is destroyed. Is that what we want in the Delta? I do not think so at the end of the day they are still our brothers. We know for a fact that the entrre region do not support them

Let them go ahead and destroy the pipelines in their backyard. When the military arrive their young men 18 and above will pay for it with their lives.

We have been dialoguing with these nincompoop for years, they first gave them NDDC to address their developmental issues ,then created a Min of Niger Delta, the only Ministry in Nigeria whose job function is not national but to a region, and later they started giving them money directly and sending them to school and training under the Ammnesty program.....

Yet they still blow pipelines enough of the discussions and negotiation the FG should declare a total war on the Militants even if it will bring Nigeria's economy to her knees ( which won't even happen) and let it last for as long as possible ( the Militants can't sustain a war beyond 6 months) but enough is enough let the government end this once and for all
interesting the militants can't sustain a war your lack of insight is of the highest level we are talking of an insurgency from obasanjo to Yar'Adua who with his wisdom negotiated peace, your Buhari has been playing the Dictator card even the gallant obasanjo a military tactician won't utter stupid statements like this duara man, these so called militants caused great damage even with lack of funds now we talking of an experienced highly funded intelligent units with sophisticated precision, you think your overstretched demoralised army who need rest can tackle the waters, fulani herds men are killing innocents SE and SS have become victims of probes and vain political witch hunting it's a soup that's boiling hot my friend talk is cheap you think war is a joke tell your president to treat the whole Nigeria with respect he's making big mistakes and no one will come out breathing!!

The Nigerian military is stronger than you can imagine.
It doesn't take the military more than 48 hours to bring down a damn group.

Don't tell me about BH. We have what it takes but politics is being played with it. The present government doesn't want another sect, so it won't mind taking it up.

And yeah the next day , I will be expecting Human Rights campaign. That's normal but it will do no shishi.

Dude guerilla warfare is a different ball game entirely. The Columbian government has been engaging the FARC rebels In guerilla warfare for the past 50 years now (longest serving war in fact) it has taken The US over a decade to cleanse Iraq and Afghanistan off Al Qaeda and Taliban elements and still counting, This group are as strong as ever today, they engaged in guerrilla warfare. Russian army fought a bitter guerrilla war with the chenchya rebel group, President Putin saw that the war was costing the Russian economy billions of dollars to fund and to make matters worst doesn't look like it was ever going to end, Pres. Putin did the smart thing he drew the chenchya closer to a dialogue and made friends with them, smart move, today the two are allies. Guerilla war is the most difficult to execute for any military it isn't conventional, it is very unconventional and uncomfortable for an average soldier. My dad served in Sierra Leone for the NA as a peace keeper he tell of this: in Sierra Leone 10yo outsmart trained soldiers because the war was guerrilla in nature etc etc. So do not underestimate the militants, should they go guerilla be ready for a long long tiring arm confrontation in Nigeria that could lead to something deadlier, whichever way you look at it, any showdown with the militants would ultimately cost Nigeria billions of dollars to fund in addition Oil exploration and production will reduced quite drastically.

Even after fg dialogue with militant in the ND, there is still no meaningful development, instead these militant leaders i.e tompolo and asari dokubo only ended up becoming billionaires while the region remain poor. These NDA are just fighting for themselves. The list they brought as demand is just for the public to see. They have thier interior motives. I just pray the military arrest them in time be4 they blow up another pipeline. No sane ND with hope for the future will damage any public property.

But if it's about Fulani herdsmen now, ur phone keyboard will stop working or u'll start asking silly questions

Why won't it be very exciting for u when your lazy ass depends on the oil from the region

Agreed the response was slow in coming but herdsmen and pipeline vandalism are not same thing. The former is a barbaric attack by senseless herdsmen on their host. After the attack, the community will pick up their broken pieces, rekindle hope, reclaim and reuse their land. The later in this case is a self inflicted injury on the community and the environment.
The Niger delta scenario is like a man burning down his house to force a tenant out.
Buhari's order to apprehend the herdsmen may have been delayed but it was not late considering the time the statement was released. As for the vandals, they have committed economic sabotage. The govts responded appropriately.

Nigeria is moving away from Oil and ND will be worse off for it. Think Strategically. Best years for oil are behind. Saudi Arabia going broke too. Every other region has good land except swampy polluted ND. The philosophy is develop the land. Not destroying your land

Vladimir Putin DID NOT "dialogue" with Chechen militants. He decimated them with Long Range weaponry. You are day dreaming here. These guys destroying their own swamp how does that really affect say Niger State?

Others look for ways and energy to develop land and you encouraging and advocating destruction and war? Look at Syria. The ND will be worse off after all said and done - death and pollution and cannot attract investments

Buhari is opening many battle fronts for the Nigerian military. Boko Haram is still killing soldiers in hundreds, now militants who are better equipped than both the army and Boko Haram combined have joined the war against this government. I'm sure that by the time IPOB arms its members due to the continued killing of Biafrans by the army, Nigeria will not stand the heat for one month.

Buhari should better go and dialogue with these militants and forget anything about military action against them. It has never worked and it will never work. OBJ is a living testimony. The end of Nigeria is at hand. Freedom is near.

Do not even bother urself. Like in the 60s if IPOB decides to constitute a nuisance, they will be crushed. If u like import all d weapons. If we have to level the entire SE we will.
