Hello house and good morning,
For Canada study permit I filled and uploaded 1294, 5257, and the family information, I also uploaded other documents they asked for in the other compartments, please are there anymore to fill?
Since I am applying online, do I need to fill out a questionnaire for study permit, and scan it alongside?
Pls when I pay and submit, how would I know when it is time for biometrics?
I need to pay with my MasterCard today, pls house kindly let me know if there s anything else, particularly housemates that Ve gone through the online route and are successful. Pls let me know if there s anything else..... Thanks house.
you would get a mail the next day after you submit online asking you to go for your biometrics. You don't need to fill out a questionnaire for study permit...seems that's only for paper routers

Okay, thanks. You mentioned Statement of Purpose in someone's question, is it part of the required documentations for visa application?
Please can you send your phone number as well. Thanks.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by Nobody: 11:02am On May 09, 2016
It's not as compulsory except if you want it to be. Depending on the contents you intend using as an explanation. But like other successful applicants have confirmed, it helps if your explanations supporting your documents and claim are convincing. You could drop your email!!

I want to enquire if doing an Upfront Medical will help me in any way. I want to start my Application for September 2016 intake but When I called VAC in Lagos, they said I should do Medical and Submit everything once. I want to ask our dear experts in the house if it is a must or should I just chil and submit the first set of documents?
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by Nobody: 11:38am On May 09, 2016
Upfront medicals prevent you from wasting further time when you're being asked to by CIC as they recommended it themselves. VAC is right cuz either ways you would still need to do your Medicals. And you're for sept entry. I believe upfront is advisable.

Hello House,
I have been following this thread on a low key for sometime now... but the worst has just happened lol! I am a student in Canada, and I applied for a visitor's (TRV) visa for my wife and kids, applied online route in March got a rejection notice today.
Reasons:
Travel history
Personal Assets

I attached properties same ones I attached during my own application last year, although they are in my name (land, house), banks statements with good balance and strong inflow and outflow
proof of employment
Business registration certificates

My wife has travelled to the Uk twice in the last 6 years! (she actually came to visit me while I was doing my MSC in the UK)
Don't really know what these guys are looking for! also attached her uk visa showing her trips in and out
I need help in tackling the points they mentioned, as I am planning to reapply!
The woman done cry tire today! lol
I beg house, I need your ideas and inputs on how to counter their points!

Thanks
NB: Keep up the good work! God bless

Let her apply for SOWP instead of visiting visa. My sister told me about her friend who applied for visiting visa 2 times and dey rejected her but when she applied for SOWP she got her visa. SOWP (spousal open work permit)

According to what I read from gurus on here, you should put the closing balance in your sponsor SOA there, let assume you also want to submit your personal SOA add your closing balance with that of your sponsor then put it there.

I stand to be corrected
Please gurus in the house should please address this explicitly.

You must also show a reliable source of funds for the duration of your academic program. You may also submit financial documents r elated to a valid pension plan or proof of income from rental properties or stocks and bonds.
