Self-proclaimed ‘People’s President’ Muhammadu Buhari - DailyMail

Despite my disagreements with PMB policies, what I hate most is when any western media interferes and insults our leaders. David Cameron was listed in the Panama papers and the British media instead of focusing on him spent most of their energy on Russian President Putin and his Syrian counterpart Assad who were not mentioned in the leaked documents.
I can call PMB dullard, go slow, clueless but NO western media should abuse him for any reason, he is our president, it is our duty to call him to order not the west.
Arabs in Libya, Egypt, Syria, Yemen and Iraq allowed the western media to demonise their leaders Saddam, Assad, Mubarak and Gaddafi and today over a million of their citizens are dead in protracted conflicts and their countries have virtually failed. Thats is why Egypt and Iraq have banned Aljazeera and some western media from their airwaves.

I have not read what was written yet but the question is was it true or not, it is true then what is the hullabaloo about. I read the report too. It was not only rude to Buhari, but very very rude to Nigeria as a whole. As soon as I finished reading the article, I had to google all UK aids we receive. I wonder where the aids were going and which Nigerians were benefitting. If I had my way, I would stop all AIDS coming from UK.
We support UK economy in many many ways. Take out Nigerian students and see how UK tertiary education suffers. We are partly funding our own collective insults.
The article was also quoting some PDP sponsored websites to discredit Buhari. I dont know which university in UK that charges 26000 GBP per year. I studied there, and except Medicine, no other course is charging near 20,000 GBP. None of Buhari's children is known to read Medicine.

Besides, Buhari's celebrated daughter Zahra was already in the UK school studying before he became President but they are making it look like he's stealing Nigeria's money to fund his daughter's UK education. I suspect some opposition guys are funding such articles on foreign media in order to lend some credibility to such campaign of calumny.

I just wish many of PMB's supporters had given the same respect to GEJ, Instead they jumped up and down and jubilated whenever the western media attacked GEJ, not realizing that one of the main reasons for the attack, was the fact that he called their bluff and was happy to buy weapons from Russia.

Anyone who knows the daily mail knows they practice sensationalized journalism using juicy gossips.

They have attacked pretty much everyone from Obama to Cameron to everyone possible so it is not personal to Buhari. I don't think anyone should spend time blasting them as to be honest it makes no difference to them. They actually like it because it attracts attention to their site.
