1. Are we supposed to pray for the boy?

2. Are we supposed to take the boy for surgery?

The correct answer is obvious.

So if God exists why create a boy without anus ony for doctors to be the ones putting effort to fix the boy.

Note this is a very simple surgery for doctors to perform, yet TOTALLY IMPOSSiBLE FOR PRAYER TO FIX.

I've follow'd this thread for a while now & I have learnt few things concerning religious beliefs. I'm still a bit curious (confused) about some arguments you guys engage in tho; If atheists don't believe in a god (or God's) existence, I dont see any reason why you should view a religious person as dumb or fool. They believe there is a superior being who they must obey to make heaven but atheists believe thats BS and its fake. In as much atheists dont believe there is a god, Why not just let every xtians/muslim et al., be (they are ignorant, right?). You were once a believer and eventually knew smthing better. Why not just hope they get to that point u changed for good.
Personally, i think one should try to play smart. If you believe God in your lifetime and u eventually get to heaven or hell, thats 3 points out of a 3, if u believe God but at the end, u only got rotten and benefited soil fertility, thats a draw (that way, God didnt exist nd u got nothing to lose IMO),

Majority of you atheists when you argue about the existence of God you appear as persons who are really concerned about humanity which is a wonderful feat. It's been an overflogged issue when y'all come up with why these Gods can't regrow an amputees limb, why he won't restore the little boy's eyes, how god is a wicked, vengeful, misogynistic being. True, an omnipotent god should be capable of all these, this points that majority of atheists are empathetic about their fellow human it also shows you lot hold onto an utopian view of the world despite knowing its an impossible reality but your responses show that we all expect heaven on earth, but the theists have promised you this utopian world somewhere in the metaphysical realm but yet you still go ahead to debunk them accusing them of how silly the idea is. True it is, because no matter how perfect the world is we need a negligible amount of imperfection to appreciate perfection.
Then again it's also an over flogged issue when you talk about these religious institutions and their belief systems and how wrong they are and contradictory their God is, yes we seem to have come to the conclusion that the bible/quran were written by mere men who were selfish, bias, delusional and power drunk, I'm not disputing. But anyone who has read the bible and quran will no doubt feel awkward about the tales in it but those books are indeed powerful and they're beyond psychology far beyond it, look at the years it took Sigmund to come up with psychoanalysis which gave more ground to understanding how the we think they're lies. There are a lot of universal truths in those books which will hold as long as the universe keeps expanding. If observation is regarded as an impotant part of science I can boldly say these books are scientific books in the psychological field but then again I could be wrong. So now ask yourselves as it has mostly be claimed that these books where written by mere men because it appears to be. Couldn't it be men like you who were also concerned about humanity and how to make them happy after observing a lot created these concepts based on what they could as the time just as science keeps doing it's best in these times.

Cloudgoddess I must say your biological knowledge is something I admire. Your recent explanation on evolution and how we likely came about is grand, sometimes I forget that it's actually a theory. You lucidly explained in one of your posts of how the current man is no different from an animal but thanks to evolution which has given room for more brain to create and perform complex abilities giving room for creation of language, maths, tools, social groups and man's journey to becoming a higher animal. I think in there you alluded to why prehistoric man could form religion and make sense of it.
Now you and I would agree that there are still animals among us as a matter of fact we are outnumbered by them but then you're angry and hell bent on ridding people of their beliefs of religion thinking the world would be a better place without it, you just like every other atheist in here do not realize y'all are priveleged on a big scale very privileged. The people you're trying show the light aren't the ones who need it, majority of the world lives as if there's no god already. Like I once said, when push comes to shove and it will happen no matter how long it takes push will always come to shove these atheists will create God all over again when we go back to our beast nature that we naturally are.

Plus if you understand the God concept to a point you'll acknowledge those books are just too fuckin complete even the contradictions aren't lies just as they say every prayer answers. I use to think those who believe in God were wrong but they aren't it may be false reality and all but they aren't wrong for believing and they aren't totally stupid either for believing. I cannot even build the courage to tell my sis, mum, that there's no one answering those prayers but still I could be wrong, as a matter of fact I'd give up anything to admit that I am. And I do mindfully hope that I'm the one who is wrong about God, it's still 50/50 fairytale or not they could be right also. There are many things to say. One thing is this, Healing is a GIFT. The gifts of the Spirit are GIFTS, not rights. Among the gifts of the Spirit, we have the GIFT of healing.
1Co 12:9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
1Co 12:10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

Like i have told you before, the gift(s) of healing is as rare as Smith Wigglesworth. Of the nine gifts, the common ones are Word of knowledge, faith, prophecy, and then MAYBE discerning of spirits. The others are rare. They are GIFTS so you obviously should not be asking ME why they are rare. One point though is that if we really really need or ask for them, we will get them. It is someone with the gifts of healing or working of miracles that you can take such a situation to and be almost certain of getting your expected result. You may be lucky with others like a prayer of faith even without the baptism, or gifts like faith, word of knowledge etc. What what would get you what you are asking for easily is someone with the gift of healing, a rare one i must say.
That been said, the real issue is not the healing of the boy, or any miracle for that matter. Historically, people who have seen many miracles are not necessarily the closest to God. In fact, they are the most punished and strictly judged by God. The people of Israel in the wilderness saw all sorts of miracles, they still failed themselves and God. Same thing the generation that Jesus lived with, who went on to crucify Him. So, don't think God's hands are itching Him to work any miracle for you in that sense. The primary provision God has made is for our salvation, our forgiveness and deliverance from sin. Jesus says and the Word of God affirms that there is tribulation and sorrow in the world, and that until we get to that better place and time when God will wipe away sorrow and tears from eyes, you can expect this world to see such sorry states.
The good news and experience is that we can still please God despite challenges or no challenges. i'm not sure if it was you that i was telling about the paraplegic Annie J Flint. Her sorry challenges did not stop her from believing God. Here are some words from her popular hymn.

He giveth more grace as our burdens grow greater,
He sendeth more strength as our labors increase;
To added afflictions He addeth His mercy,
To multiplied trials He multiplies peace.

His love has no limits, His grace has no measure,
His power no boundary known unto men;
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus

i want to believe you have heard about contemporary Nick Vujicic born without arms and legs yet serving God happily more than many that have arms and legs. Not to forget the great Fanny Jane crosby, who died at 95years old. Fanny wrote popular hymns like "Pass Me Not, O Gentle Saviour", "Blessed Assurance", "Jesus Is Tenderly Calling You Home", "Praise Him, Praise Him", "Rescue the Perishing", and "To God Be the Glory". Some 'medical' treatment when she was young left her blind forever. Yet she was the most inspiring of them all. Nobody has an excuse. God healing or not healing your friend does not prove anything.

It was lord gwa gwa . but i was shocked when i saw jesus and yahweh doing manicure and pedicure for lord gwa gwa .

Lord gwa gwa , then told me to go back to the world and preach to all men about him.

I woke up, i found myself in the hospital . i was totally fine .

And brethren i want to thank gwa gwa for helping me pass my exams , i know it wasnt because i read tirelessly for months , attended classes and took my studies seriously . NO WAY it was by lord gwa gwas epp.
