People like you are the real problem we have in our country. You stand for nothing. Wherever the wind blows, you go even when it could harm you.

You condemned GEJ for trying to remove subsidy when it was the best time and see nothing wrong in this administration's action to remove same subsidy at this very difficult and trying time?

Smh for you
God bless you for your intelligence. At a time when the nation would have easily recovered from the shock of fuel subsidy removal, as well as had funds to absorb same shock, these hypocritical ones were sponsored to protest, even without their knowledge. Any kid with common sense would have known it was a sponsored protest, but alas, common sense is not common at all.
Lessons haven't been learnt yet, that is why they are still supporting this scam of a government. But God said, "In a time of great hunger and lack, my people will live in abundance", so no qualms, enjoy the drama while it lasts.

In America PMS is sold for $80 in Europe it goes for $90. in most African countries it is sold equivalent to 175 Naira even when they have a working refinery refining the products.

I must commend the federal govt on this increase. This will curb corruption and add value to the growth and development of Nigeria.

We the Nigerian youths are solidly behind the FG. NLC are toothless bulldogs.

And what is the value of 175 naira in dollars? Where are the Nigerian youths who are solidly behind this criminal increase? Wake up and smell the coffee. Look back, u are alone on the queue. U are on your own. So speak for urself and stop seeking band wagon attention.

Have you seen 80 dollars in your life? There is no where on earth that pms cost that much. No where. I wonder why you chose to lie like a fool over something that is easily verifiable. Moreso minimum wage in u.s is 8dollars per hour about 1600naira per hour, so u cant compare U.S with nigeria. Even then, a gallon(3.8litres) of pms cost about 2dollars in the U.S. Here is my reference https://www.eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/

Your life sux..Tufia

Does it mean you can't hawk pure water since you are jobless?

How can an able bodied old man like start up with NL in the morning and continue till past midnight?

Get a life outside NL and get something else to do with your miserable life, you are old and still yet not married despite the fact that you are still living with your poor old mother. Do they pay you to be commenting on every thread despite your incoherence?

Whoever cursed you to be this useless in life e no go better for the person. Tufiakwa.

Abagworo:
There is a big difference between Buhari and Jonathan. Buhari is the only President in Nigerian history to have really won an election. Yar'Adua never won 2007 and Jonathan never won in 2011. Buhari has been winning all the electns he contested but only became President in 2015 because of PDP error of employing tribalism in an election where the opponent comes from majority.

Nigerian elites don't actually like Buhari because of his anti corruption stance.

Nlc, let's do the needful.
and what is the needful ? a strike action ? occupynigeria?

what will that change ?

the government already knows the way Nigerians will behave. they know that there will be possible strike after which they will reduce the price to 120 per liter. then people will start saying LET US LEAVE THEM, AT LEAST THEY HAVE TRIED, PLEASE LET US GO BACK TO WORK COS I NEED SALARY, WHEN WILL THIS STRIKE END..?

take a look at all the strike actions since when PMS was still 11 naira. what did it change ?

IRAPADA:
so u want all those money wasted in the name of subsidy payment.after buhari tenor u will come to NAIRALAND to say buhari didn't do anything.
And what is giving you the assurance that after removing this subsidy, they'll do something tangible. It's always being about blames and excuses on the past govts. God knows I don't like GEJ for anything, my post history shows that, but PMB is a very insensitive and callous leader. His govt has always brought up policies that make life more unbearable for the masses. How could someone increase electricity tariff despite adding more darkness, and now increasing the pump price of PMB at a time when over half of the state civil servants are owed salaries of between 3 to 6 months, with no attendant increase in minimum wage despite unprecedented inflation. His govt is doomed to fail already sadly. A year gone and it has been one of the worst period in the history of this country. People find it hard to feed twice daily in this country. What did we do to deserve this punishment.

This Govt penchant for telling lies is just unimaginable. U said d Labour Unions were part of d discussion and within hours this rebuttal. How do u hope to sustain this pricing template when d marketers source d Fx from d black MKT or u have d magic wand to stabilize d dollar?. D govt need to abolish d dichotomy of official and bureau d change rates or better still sell Fx to d mkters and ensure strict supervision to avoid diversion. With this Labour's position I must say this govt is very insensitive.
Abolishing the 'dichotomy' meansdevaluation and Buhari doesn't want to hear that.. Hopefully, like this subsidy, he will see the need to let go off the protection of the naira against other currency.

A couple o months ago, I bumped into a business blog on gold by chance. Sadly, the link disappeared later, but the articlew and interviews on how to start up a gold business I read there were very objective.
Just yeasterday, I ran into the same link again (http://global-intergold-en..com/). It might be interesting for some of you. If online gold shop brought success to people in the street, it might also bring it to you, who knows. grin
