Nice poem, we av to play out part. But sometimes our hands are tied down by the policies imposed on us by te government. but know that "not everybody wanted GEJ out" and as u av said that is was the freeest and fairest election. I hope buhari will toe GEJ line and conduct a free and fair election and peacefully step down if he looses. Cos he has started very badly with electoral processes in his administration. |

Who told you every Nigerian was fed up with the last administration? The fact that APC won does not mean that everyone voted APC. Some of us knew the game plan of APC and will refused to be deceived with their antics. Others refused to listen. They were carried away by lies. Now that eyes are opening the truth is coming out. Some regretted voting APC while those who are still being deceived still believe in this government. A government that woke up one day and hiked the price of fuel not minding the effects it will have on the poor masses. Of what benefit is the hike in price of fuel when the prices of foodstuff have skyrocketted. If the poor eventual die of hunger, what is now the benefit of the hike? To help the rich, I guess. |

Op you claim to be from delta state and you made mention of blowing up pipeline and fg paying militants. Please answer this: IS IT FAIR THAT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CONTINUES TO RECOGNISE 90% ALLOCATION OF OIL BLOCKS TO NORTHERNER? WHILE THOSE WHO OWN THE OIL, WHOSE LAND HAS BEEN DEVASTATED BY OIL EXPLORATION HAVE LITTLE OR NOTHING! I only wonder if the north had the wealth of the south, would any southerner be allocated an oil block? I agree with u op but u are definitely missing some vital points. The people of the Niger delta will have peace if and only if we have resource control. |

Ijaya123:$2.1 billion is not missing. Arms were bought. Like every Nigerian contract (even currently under Buhari), some were diverted. Don't swallow Aisha rice without chewing. This Government have not bought any extra weapons since GEJ left. |

The government suppose to borrow tens of billion of dollars to build the country. We need that kind of leaders that can really build the country. APC is not ready to really build the country. |

ononujuchika:The media you talk about has not even been kind to this government. Corruption can never be swept under the carpet. The visibility is even very high now especially as they came in with the toga of anti corruption. Tell yourself the truth even if it doesn't suit your bias, there is general fear of the consequences of corruption today because they don't know what will happen tomorrow. If this tempo was kept in the past I bet you politicians and civil servants/banks would have at least exercised some restraints. There was no fear of consequences in any way, reasons being that the PDP in their wildest dream never believed they will ever leave power. All that has changed as the APC today cannot predict the next elections as the only guarantee they have to come back in 2019 is performance and keeping a clean slate. Give kudos when it's due, a template is being set at the moment and it will go a long way to define how public service will be in the future. whether the current government is doing well in governance is a different ball game altogether which will be determined at the end of their tenure. |

Bible says; if the foundation is destroyed, what can the righteous do?......if the head is corrupt, what can the body do. The change has to start from the TOP! If people are the top change & judiciously utilize funds, you don't need a sooth sayer to tell you that there'll be also change in the behavioural patterns of the people. #IT STARTS WITH OUR LEADERS |
