Sugah, I agree with your dh and others saying you should not go for the burial.

I'm of the opinion that the stress both emotionally and physically will be too much for you coupled with being pregnant.

My mum and I were meant to travel to the US for Ayomide's birth at 32weeks....I am scheduled for CS due to previous myomectomy and my doctor doesn't want me to fall into labor at all.

Now my mum's burial has been fixed for when id be 34weeks. Im hoping I can attend so I can pay my last repects to her but everyone is against the idea. Cos I did not handle her death well, I was with her in the room when she passed, they (family and dh) think I might be too stressed out for the burial. My dh thinks traveling to the Village, doing the burial, traveling back to lagos and jumping on a plane at 35weeks for several hours to the US is too much stress.

Please what do you all think?

Hey, good to av u back, I think you can pay ur last respect u clock 34weeks, pls since u knw u wnt handle it well pls travel as planned. May u carry to term IJN.

Pls try and do something about the mosquito ish, cos when ur LO arrives, it will also be an issue.

Sugah your late mum will understand,the site of lowering her can trigger labour which your Dr is against pls travel for your delivery for you and your lo's safety,if she is here that will be her honest opinion,wishing safe trip and delivery.



In other news if you never try carrot stew you are missing a lot,with carrot 150,shombo 200,fresh pepper 30,tin tomatoe 130,3large onion I got a big pot of stew that am reserving some for sunday kikikikikiki(home mgt woman) carrot stew is the bomb

@Boomz, I understand how u feel, had my first @ 40wks + 3days. The anxiety as a FTM was easy, dh was even worse than me when I crossed 40wks. Like mamas have said, u have to continue with your walks. What has your Dr said about it? God will surely see you through.

Dr hasn't said anytin yet oh! Still planning to see me at d nect clinic day. Infact I just had a 45mins walk now and I feel more heaviness down there......seems d baby is just too comfortable and not ready to show face..I don taya abeg.

The best hospital I can testify is Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, that was where I put to bed, believe u me u will enjoy their services, I have seen lots of emergency cases from other hospitals being referred to this hospital...are u from igbo?

Sorry about the swollen feet. What's your b.p like? Can you trek for at least an hour every evening ? ?? Can you kpekpus with hubby everyday if possible ? Have you tried eating unripe pineapples and paw paw? ?
