What was the color of the blood? Is it bright red? Was it accompanied with stomach cramps? Was it just a stain in the tissue or it flowed out?
If its nothing of such, you are probably safe and just need some bedrest. Your baby will be fine

In your case, your perineal skin (skin btw your VJay and anus) most likely not stretch out well before you pushed resulting in the tears..or your baby had a broad shoulder. ...These are other things that causes tears too.

You're right dear. As for me, everyone in my house is a giant. I'm the smallest. So my doc said ders a possibility my baby will be big. But if i don't watch what i eat, the baby will even become far bigger.

First relax your mind. As long as the spotting is not bright red....you are okay. You can also visit the doctor and do a scan to put your mind at rest. I had same spotting last week and it was just my cervical region that was shedding. I am fine now at 6weeks

My mum and I were meant to travel to the US for Ayomide's birth at 32weeks....I am scheduled for CS due to previous myomectomy and my doctor doesn't want me to fall into labor at all.

Now my mum's burial has been fixed for when id be 34weeks. Im hoping I can attend so I can pay my last repects to her but everyone is against the idea. Cos I did not handle her death well, I was with her in the room when she passed, they (family and dh) think I might be too stressed out for the burial. My dh thinks traveling to the Village, doing the burial, traveling back to lagos and jumping on a plane at 35weeks for several hours to the US is too much stress.

Please what do you all think?

A very pleasant morning to us all !

How is it going?

It hasn't been so smooth for me these past days but God is on the throne. Been having severe headache, feverish conditions, vomitting, high temperature etc. I had to go see my ob/gyn, we did MP, FBC, Urine M/C/S. Result came out, had 1+ malaria, everyoda was fine. I've been away from work for 2days, resumed this morning but not stressing myself at all.

Guess what, I did a sex scan and I'm Team PINK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DH was super excited cos he has been saying it's a girl and a lot of things I feel in this pregnancy, I didn't experience it with my son so my sonographer said it must be clash of hormones since I'm carrying a girl. i'm excited as well, it's more interesting to shop for girls than boys

And least I forget, I was 20weeks on Sunday! Grateful to God for bringing me halfway down the journey

Lol. This pee thing gets worse if you're the type that drinks water like a camel, to the extent that you'll start envying kids who wear diapers . But you can try this sha o, its what i do. Even tho i drink water a lot, i can stay without peeing for an hour except i just feel like visiting the toilet. Try this:

Lean forward when you urinate. This helps empty out your bladder better. Or try the double-voiding method(pee, then when you're done, pee again). This ensures that your bladder is completely emptied each time, so you might need fewer trips to the bathroom.

iamfruitful04 it shall be well and u'll gett ur very BFP very very soon. I also lost mine around that gest age. Remember that somtyms the the foetus myt hav abnormalities due to the formation of the chromosomes and so the body expels it naturally, so probably saved from havn an abnormal baby. And if it's ur first, be rest assured that miscarriages are more common than u think the first time. Sometyms that happens coz the body isn't used 2 smthn foreign. Consequent ones will remain just fine n healthy. Don't be sad. Stay positive, eat well and prepare for the next bfp after the tym prescribed by ur doc *huggz*

Enkaydewdrop, that stooling and haemorroid kind of thing, I experienced it o, can't remember what was given to me to aid it. Don't force the stools ok, also try to eat something like dry crackers or bread to minimise stooling. Pele dear, you can just use vaseline on ur anus after each toilet session.
