Demand release of Nnamdi Kanu, Dasuki, defreeze of Tompolo’s bank accounts

YENAGOA- A new militant group, Red Egbesu Water Lions, has surfaced in the Niger Delta region, just as suspected militants, Tuesday night, blew up the Sagbama-Tuomo gas line, belonging to Nigerian Agip Oil Company, NAOC, at Egbembiri, Southern Ijaw local government area of Bayelsa State .

A security source, who confirmed the explosion, said: “Egbembiri is a border town between Bayelsa and Delta states. They destroyed the Ayama section of the Ogboinbiri-Tuomo gas pipeline with dynamites at about 9.00 pm on Tuesday. That line was earlier repaired, last week and again vandalized.”

“We, however, suspect that dispute over the surveillance contract led to the attack. The Agip pipeline links major oil facilities in Delta and Bayelsa States,” he added.

The new militant group in a statement by its Creek Network Coordinator, “General” Torunanawei Latei, said it was teaming up with the Niger Delta Avengers and Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

“It issued the Federal Government a seven-day ultimatum to release Nnamdi Kanu, former National Security Adviser, NSA, Sambo Dasuki and direct EFCC to defreeze the bank accounts of ex-militant leader, Government Ekpemupol, alias Tompolo,

Threatening to shut down all oil exploration activities in the Niger Delta at the expiration of the ultimatum, the group also demanded “unconditional immediate payment to victims of the Bonga Oil Spill and Chevron gas explosion in Koluama, Bayelsa state.”

“It is extremely important to note that the engine room of the national interest is the executive obedience to court orders, protection and preservation of citizens’ constitutional liberties. Justification of executive disobedience to court orders as a protection of national interest is abominable.

“This is a deliberate ploy to bend the law and suspend the 1999 Constitution. We ask, does President Muhammadu Buhari have any legal capacity to declare anyone as a criminal? Disobedience to court orders is an act of executive rascality in the country,” the group added.

This has the trademark and support of Jonathan Goodluck Ebele Azikwe and Dieziani Allison embarassed
This would not stop EFCC from doing the needful.
If they can be dealing with Dasuki and Kanu as expected, Jonathan and Allison would be interesting.
We are watching and observing.

Buhari is destroying this country.

The court has granted Dasuki and Kanu bail.

I can not understand why Buhari has refused to release them.

Buhari, pls respect the court and release them, and let their trials continue until judgement is delivered.

What an affront. The govt must use two-pronged solution here: a massive bombardment of their hideout followed by minor concessions to tell them that 'no group is greater than a State'.

This purely has the hands and face of some devilish PDP elements written all over it; subjecting the entire nation to darkness and suffering for some personal political gains. I think the PDP is too scared of what will become of them if APC solves Nigeria's power crisis, hence all these bombings whenever they hear a pipeline taking gas to power stations has been fixed.

I can't imagine what will happen if they continue doing this for the next 4 years; if APC wins the 2019 election, they will either intensify their bombings. If APC loses in 2019 (owing to this clear case of political sabotage), APC will start its own bombings. Whichever way you look at it, it seems Nigeria will forever remain in darkness. Except God intervenes and strikes these devils with thunder. undecided cry

Their demands speaks volumes and has implications
1- release of Dasuki - this indicates that the people behind the attack is 'CORRUPTION' and corruption is fighting back. The powerful corrupt people who had immensely benefited from Nigeria are fighting their last battle for life. Asking for Dasuki indicates these corrupt individuals benefited from the last administration. Dasuki in custody is causing them fear as they don't know what he may have divulge to EFCC.
2-KANU
Asking release of Kanu is tell us they are a lot of people from the east involved. The truth is the SS don't give a damn about about IPOB
3-TOMPOLO and compensation
Tompolo loyal and faithful. Wherever Tompolo is, he's BROKE no doubt. He is part of them but have been decimated financially and he is one of the their sponsors but now no money for the boys

they are bringing BH on their knees according to APC news channels.
For the past 6months they have not been able to clear Sambisa forest and u believe BH is going on their knees.

APC government should allow independent media houses to directly get involved in what is in NE. Then we shall know ho far.

I don't get how exchanging mere pleasantries with another poster is enough to induce your hate induced migraine.. smiley

TonyeBarcanista, shey fear no wan let you put mouth for this matter because those miscreants don bully you into silence?? You dread pissing them up again abi? Smh.

Now they've resorted to laying waste to your lands just so they could secure the release of Kanu (forget Dasuku. Na cover up for their principal intent). You know no one can bully/blackmail the FG into releasing someone who's being charged with a crime as weighty as treason. Destroy the whole of ND they might, but Kanu IS NOT gonna be released based on such actions by criminals.

In fact, this is going to aggravate Kanu's problems if anything.

Na una peeps I dey pity. Farmlands, water bodies, marine life, what serve as a major source of livelihood for your people would be the first casualties- then the effect would start being felt by they themselves.

Too bad.

If Buhari was a student doing a four-year course in the university, this month would mark the end of his first year as well as 25 per cent of his continuous assessment. Each person is free to rate him. But the bottom line is that the Nigerian economy is hurting. And it is not because of the trite expression of “no pain, no gain” as many assume; rather it is because of what former President Olusegun Obasanjo said last week, which had been said last month by Oby Ezekwesili and Prof Pat Utomi, that Buhari is not good on the economy and foreign affairs. These three personalities supported Buhari’s Presidency. So they did not speak as enemies or detractors.
