Would have posted this since, but I was in prison. Thanks to a hyperaactive mod. Anyway we keep reading unpalatable news of spousal abuse, and it appears the men have brought ttheir agbero lifestyle to the homefront. Well I wanna describe a situation I met at asaba two days ago while on a journey.

As I drove into the fuel station and queued, I observed a man and a woman seriously cussing themselves, they were passengers in the same bus which stopped to buy fuel. Anyway I looked away, only to hear a loud thud, a slap has landed and the man was on the floor. This woman slapped him, we was still trying to get up and retaliate, when I ran out with some other men and held him. Some of the market women selling chin chin and banana rushed to hold the woman. She broke away from their grasp and landed him another slap even while we were holding him. I screamed at the woman, urging her to control herself. While still struggling with this man to prevent an attack by him. After five to ten minutes he calmed down abit. The market women were able to coerce the rampaging bull of a woman back into the vehicle.

The man wanted to enter the vehicle so it could move, when the same woman slapped him again, calliing him a weakling and a nobody. Dat was when the market women in anger warned us all not to interfer anymore. My people what happened next deserves tv viewing at a WWE match. The man dragged her down and beat her to stupor, she was trying to run away while begging for help, yet we didn't come to her aid, it was other roadusers who just entered the fuel station and whom never knew our earlier efforts that saved her from his clutches.

She ran to one side, crying with a bloodied face, cussing the man, telling him he isn't fit to be a man, only weak men beat women, blah blah. The market women and the fuel attendants kept mocking her , telling her she got what she bargained. But in my heart I felt very bad. I hate to see a woman crying and she was really badly beaten up. Even though she deserved the smack down, yet she can't see the hypocrisy in her behaviour. She was so scared of entering the bus again knowing the man had already entered. It took pleas from the driver to assure her safety before she entered. She appeared powerless and as usual took on the victim role to the newly arrived motorists to the fuel station.

The real shocker in this story is that, they were both husband and wife. We learnt that after their bus zoomed off.


Thus I now blamed the man, I have realised that majority of these women are possesed and can't help themselves sometimes. And as a man the only way is to tolerate their excesses and understand the many demons they fight daily to be women. How else would you explain that, a woman who ordinarily will think twice before slapping a fellow woman, will have the guts to slap a man who is physically stronger than her, and yet she will believe he won't retaliate because he is a true man by her myopic definitions. Women are illogical and thus must be tolerated and not physically abused when they misbehave. You can beat them up , but you really should not. There is no gain in such display of bravado. This is why a major trait any man must posess to be mature enough, is the ability to tolerate women. Because to these people , even if she slaps u and u retaliate, she will play the victim, even if she cheats on you and you wallop her, she will post pictures on nairaland of her injuries with an attached statement that you "thought" she cheated. they are illogical beings and thus cannot comprrhend many things in life.

Personally, I try to avoid trouble by not over reacting.
The rule of the thumb is to avoid any form of confrontation as much as possible.

I also believe that when there is mutual respect, there would be less fight and confrontation.

This doesn't apply to some women tho', besides, who b*tches don Epp.

am a complete gentleman but slap me 3 times and i will shappally ungentle my gentleness and wreck havoc....life is hard especialy in naija at the moment...red eye everybody....am still sorry for the guy i elbowed at the filling station thou....that was some smack downl

ogbeni whether today or tommorw, its the same. Ever wonder why women are ascribed a fish brain ? Its their inabilty to have logical reasoning. And I will use you as an example to prove it. Please continue

It's so laughable to think that a man will not retaliate in public when a woman humiliates him by giving him a dirty slap, not even once, but twice, thrice etc.


And yes, he will be branded a weakling if he didn't teach her a lesson by the same women who say men aren't men who beat women. She got wat she deserved..

i feel bad if i beat my GF,...cos she cant even contend against my left thumb finger...anyways my prayer for u is that a random girl keeps slaping u on the road up to like 5 or 6 times even when people keeps holding her...make u know wetin be dat demon when u dey talk about.
