Nkem its too early in the week to display such attitude. God bless you and your mother. I wasnt raised to use parents in abusive arguments.
What you have just done is maturity at its peak, reminds me of what Prof. JEGA did to Orubebe.

God bless you with more wisdom.

Many of these kids are raised far better than Yorubaa children as most of you are born throw-way/unplanned, in other words bastards, and raised by single mothers. Usually malnourished and unkempt. Swear to God you are not a bastard...didn't only your mother raise you? Do you know your real father... not the strange man living with your mother? Anumanu
Hahaha hahaha hahaha
I don laugh fall inside gutter. Why una wicked like this? ? ?

Charity and hycenth, may your marriage be fruitful, happiness, joy in goodhealth. Mr and mrs okorocha thank you for the gift to them. But sincerely with gladness in my heart i was reading to see a gift of a house and not a car. Nneoma my dear, with the likeness i have for you, you are more than this car gift.

I know you are yoruba, so I'll help you. Igbos as Zaki said help to raise children that aren't theirs. Most...80% of Igbo family tend to adopt young girls and boys from the village, I'm talking about mostly age 5-15 yrs old, they raise these kids same way as they raise their own children...same school, clothing, room, e.t.c. Many instances you cannot differentiate by appearance that these kids are not their blood children as they are treated very well. They get them at young age so that they can mold, treat and assimilate them with their children. So that girl you see is a product of this Igbo wonderful assistance program...she not necessarily a maid as the media are reporting. Fellow Igbos know whats-up!
Though I don't agree with the guy, your tribe too doesn't have a clean record when it comes to house-help abuse. I'm only trying to douse the tribal feud building up between you two.

You don't have respect, a man that cannot respect someone's parent cannot respect his. Shame on you! Look at the disgusting things you are saying just cos of tribal difference. What a world we live in! No respect for elderly ones. The guy didn't even call you names or insulted you like this.

You don't have shame at all. And you're a man for that matter taking like a woman. You should be ashamed of your manners.
am yoruba but i like the manner igbos treat the maids...u wont even know they're not their kids unlike several yoruba kids having no father and raised by single mothers...this is too common in Yoruba culture....

as for the guy u are wailing for remember he first set the pace by referring to igbos as baby factory...what goes around comes around and lets be objective thats what spurred the other guy to take it personal....we shouldnt allow sentiment becloud our intelligence....say no to tribal hate and character assassination irrespective of ur own tribe

Imagine someone insulting your mother like that, how will you feel? What you did was totally wrong, we should be careful not involving parents to whatever argument we may have with a person. What has his mother gotten to do with it? What has his parental background gotten to do with your point? Pls what you did was wrong, don't try it next time. You should have not brought his parents into it. Show some respect to someone's parents even if you lack respect for yours.

in other words, there is still dignity in being a house maid. Those women/men that bully their house maid should take note.

Let me apologize on his behalf, see my dear what he was saying initially is the truth. It's vey common to find igbo families training domestic help kids like theirs. They train them up to university and ensure they have a bright future. Not to say there aren't bad eggs whom abuse these kids amongst Igbos but go and ask like 98% do what okorocha did and it's not even celebrated as a special thing. I dunno why the media is hyping this

Tell me what Rochas stole from you. You people will go on forum like this and be calling someone you have never met , Thief. Remember before he become governor, he was already a billionaire.

thats never a maturity...the guy simply gave him his own dose.....even though am yoruba i dont subscribe to referring to a tribe as baby factory

Not entirely. In fact, it is rare. What most people (Igbos especially) do is gross child abuse. Taking cheap maids pretending to help them, whereas depriving them of their childhood. This is the same logic behind baby factories and human trafficking.
well not true, my best friend was Igbo and the father took in other kids and relatives and raised them as his own, took me a while to even know they were not related.
