I subscribed for the MTN 1GB plan for 500 naira by dialling *406*2# and I was given 2GB. I didnt notice this immediately. I downloaded stuffs about 200mb, then checked to see how much data was remaining by dialling *559*2# then I saw I had 1965mb left.

now you are enjoying their extra 1gb free you won't call cc to complain oh,when they deduct small #20 from your account their cc agents and nairaland will not rest

I think it's pretty cool. What's the validity period??

Anybody else with the same experience cus ama do it right away

we need competition in every sector in this country so that the massive populace will enjoy value for their money and at the same time have plenty of choice to choose from competing company's....
now if GLO give me something better than these i'd simply port.....we should have that in every MAJOR sector...eg power etc

Something similar happened to me. I did the N50 for 50mb plan and i was initially given 50mb. I used the data to 47mb then quickly went to do something but when i returned to check my data bal i had 347mb left

same thing happened to me... But it was a Greek gift

Op, what you are saying is true, I was actually given additional 750mb when I purchased that of N500, but the clause there is that you have to use it only within the validity period of the purchased Data.

same here 834 mb cant use, it wil expire on june 1..

most probably you are not on pulse plan. The 1gb is for only those on pulse

Why it lasted for 10 days is because most probably you have additional unexpired 3 days validity from your previous data subscription, so when you subscribed to this current one, which is supposed to be 1 week, it normally adds up to your remaining validity period

Seriously? I brought Etisalat 500mb 4 #500, the rate the data was disappearing was fabulous. not until I checked my Mb to see 100mb, was on whatsapp, re checked my data balance and I saw 10mb! without downloading and browsing...the sim is now where I dumped it.

It's legit subscription not mtn awoof

I dont trust those emtyhen niggiz @ all.... Did the #500 for 700mb,used it for 3day & it stopped working. Currently have like 585mb yet i still cant browse
