Hmmm....You people are starting another 'Hutu VS Tutsi' again.

You are spreading hate all over the whole place.

You will not be able to contain the fire when it starts.

Be warned, our enemies are not Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa our enemies are the rich and corrupt rulers who steal all our money and try to divide us on ethnic grounds.

Up there where they share the loot, there is simply 'Zero percent' tolerance for ethnic divide, their sole aim is to steal, steal and steal more.

We are here exchanging banters. Be wise

Why do we give oil well to individual.

Why not Central Govt?

If it must be given to individuals, they should have modular refineries not drilling and selling the crude.
No single person or group of individuals should own a well for more than 6yrs.

Would you give them the capital to build refineries and would guarantee security? The reason why multinational oil companies do not bother to build refineries is because of security and possible nationalisation from well meaning patriots like you.

We all need to be more informed in other to free ourselves from the clog of tribal and ethnic jingoist who benefits immensely from our division. No single individual hold 100% right on any oil bloc in Nigeria considering the capital involved in developing the field. Also their are difference between OPL (oil prospecting licence) and OML (Oil mining lease). The federal government is usually the largest shareholder of any blocs in Nigeria.

Are you sure you can differentiate hausa, igbo, Yoruba nd ss names?

You can actually do better by giving the percentage each region has. This will be more concise, and makes us see the geo-political distribution of the oil wells clearly.

You can now see, when it comes to stealing Nigeria's economic wealth it is then you will see those Igbos ,Hausas ,Yorubas and the South South coming together as one but unfortunately the same people will use the downtrodden who continue to kill themselves for the political gains of these so called super rich. Tell me, one of those names mentioned in the stealing of the oil wealth have their wards in the country's educational institutions from primary to tertiary levels. Look at the table what they usually make us to believe was that only the Northerners have more than 90% shares of the oil blocks thanks the Nairaland forum for their exposure. All those militants should now think twice and stop destroying their God given environment as there are no place to move to after the bastardisation.

For your information, guys, oil blocs in Nigeria are not allocated or shared scot-free. They given or sold out in bidding processes. As usual, the highest bidder gains ownership of such blocs.

y r u people putting two head together, saboteurs everywhere, dnt u kn that ss bear some names in common with Easterners. westerner try and get ur brain right, my mum is from the east, my dad is a SS, my native name is Onyekachi. who will ever believe that am from SS. get urselves right. stop preaching hatred cos nairaland have sown hatred in the heart of many tribes. I have Yoruba cousins due to the good intertribal marriage then. but not permitted again cos of ur preach. SS especially rivers have a part called oyigbo, etche, egbema, omuma etc whc all speak Igbo, bear Igbo name and have Igbo culture. likewise delta, some places like ogwashi, isselle ukwu, asaba etc just like the governor's name is Ifeanyi, all bear Igbo name, tradition and culture. The governor of rivers starting from odili, his wife is IMO, amaechi I think is anambra or Enugu, likewise wike.likewise my father's house, r made up core Igbo. the earlier u kn that these two geopolitical zone have many things in common. IMO, abia, akwa ibom, cross river, bayelsa, delta, edo, rivers, ondo have oil wells and r the nigerdelta region. egbema is IMO a boundary with rivers. before u write something, get ur brain intact and have a good write up. u CNT bring hatred between we and people around us, I have every tribe as my friend. stop preaching hatred cos an attack on region will affect the others.

@op let me ask you this...if you were to be a corrupt nigerian politician and you owned an oil block. would you put it under your name or under a shell company's name with many many many many front men.??
secondly, how authentic is this "facebook" source. Because anybody can create a spread sheet and write names of supposed oil block owners and upload it on facebook, twitter, instagram. All i need is a confirmation of the source.
