I think we should tell ourselves the truth, Buhari would rather burn Niger Delta that give in to republic of Niger Delta. The guys should just Negotiate with the government. Hard times ahead, so brace up both those in support of NDA and those against. Nobody would be spared. Already the hardship in bayelsa presently is something else.

They should hurry up and destroy all pipelines. WHEN THERE IS NO PIPELINE TO BOMB, WE WILL SEE WHAT IS NEXT?
They will soon turn to filing station.

Buhari WILL NOT dialogue with them. Let them destroy their lands. The same people rejoicing whenever these economy terrorists blow up pipelines will still be the same people that will cry to the FG in the few days to come. Already the militants are destroying pipelines of multinational companies{USA, Britain} which I think is a bad approach.

Anyway interesting days are still ahead. We will see how this movie will end.

Whether FG tries to negotiate or not isn't the problem.
The problem is how the "born to rule" class takes the rest of us for granted.

Whatever is happening in Niger Delta now isn't just because GEJ lost the election, as many insinuated. Far from that.
When Bubu got sworn in, he couldn't wait to show his disdain for those he referred to as "the 5%" who didn't give him their votes, and who shouldn't expect to be treated equally as other constituents that gave him above 95%. That was a very parochial attitude. Coming from someone who should be an elder statesman, who is expected to navigate the ship of a multi-ethnic nation, that has deep suspicions of other tribes and their intentions, that was a very unfortunate and a very misguided remark. Asari Dokubo recently commented that Bubu should look elsewhere for the money he will use in taking care of the "95 or 97%" that matters more to him. Very few disagreed with Asari Dokubo over this.

It simply showed that the president is no more matured than he was when he forcibly took power in 1983 or so. Everyone referred to him as an ethnic bigot, and he kept proving everyone right so far.

He approved a budget of billions to fix Borno and adjourning states. He approved billions for importing grasses and creating grazing reserve. These two projects are in favor of his kinsmen and their private businesses. Yet, he showed little concern for the regions that have been the victims of his savage kinsmen, the Fulani herdsmen. He never made plans for communal farmers who have largely been victims of his nomadic brethren. All the money for these projects are coming from the "minor and unwanted 5%". Does that seem fair? What's more, he keeps matching his words with action. His appointments into office of several heads of Federal organizations just three days ago, were mainly people from the north. He leaves no one in doubt that he thinks the Hausas and Fulanis are superior to the rest of us.

He should learn diplomacy. Governance has gone beyond the economics and politics of the 80s when he held brief. He never even bothered to undergo any self improvement by way of education and learning after he left office. Well, we are saddled with this unfortunate situation his narrow mindedness has foisted upon us. I don't see a way out soon, because Bubu is as stubborn as he is ignorant.

Congratulations.

More power to your bombing.

Unfortunately PMB only needs to increase VAT to 10% and Stamp Duty to N100 and he will shore up his revenue.

PMB should declare state of emergency in Bayelsa and Delta with immediate effect and automatic alacrity , remove the Governors and let the Military Administrator of the 2 states be Buratai. This is bordering on economic sabotage, a treasonable felony offence. Hence, the SOE.

If they want to make the country ungovernable for you, make their homes uninhabitable for them too by turning their homes/communities to hell for them.

Diversification is the way to go abeg. I wouldn't blame NDA though how can they be feeding 170m people.

how much damage is it to land as to economy. You think the oil companies affected won't have shut down production by now and the source of fire put to stop.

Think right... Think smart. Even your almighty Buhari has taken the dialogue option, what you should know is the real Naija is the Niger Delta all other regions are the rians.

Economy will only be temporary and everybody will suffer for it. Worst come to worst be go back to our groundnut pyramids, that one even good sef. But who will clean up the nigerdelta after all the bombings? Who will give them food when they can no longer fish? Jobs nko? Who will give their kids scholarship to go to school when they have driven all the multinationals away?? So what do u have for nd: poverty, hunger and mass illiteracy.

Funny. Some people are destroying the businesses empires of western countries and the same people are still hoping for some magical intervention from ICC/human rights bodies when the Nigeria government unleashed its own madness. I laugh

P.S This will be my last post on any militants thread on this forum.

Don't mind them... Nigeria is a failed state, if Niger Delta ceases from Nigeria, the whole Nigerians would be touring Niger Delta, because the massive infrastructural development that can be achieved with all the 2.2million barrels a day, will be as that of Dubai. Just being objective

Most of the ignorant persons haven't heard of what is called bio-remediation with just 5000 barrels of crude oil sold... The environment and ecosystem will be restored to as it were.
