The right to protest is a perceived human right arising out of a number of recognized human rights.

I wonder why the useless nigeria police and it's illiterate Sheriff don't understand this

while excercising your fundalmental human rights, you also have no right whatsoever to infringe on another citizen's fundalmental human rights.
i wonder why the useless ipod and their inciteful sponsors cant recognise this.

I would have dropped some things here but a Seun or two is always on the look out to ban me..

so people can't protest in peace again? they are even shooting pregnant women now?
nawa o...
so you call that peaceful demonstration? People like you courtesy of the privilege of Internet will spew hate messages online but won't av the temerity to go join your mates to demonstrate. I will neva pity any lunatic who joins the demonstration and get killed. Anyone who dies as a result of his foolishness should rot for all I care. Have you bothered to ask yourself whr the mammoth population of the Igbos will stay if actually dey get this freedom? The landmass of the entire five eastern states is not even the size of just bornu, yet you want everyone totally over 30million to live in the East. People should just think and not talk out of ignorance and hate.

You don't have to invade streets, causing gridlock and untold hardships on commuters just in the name of wanting out.
How about using the legal means?
And pls tell me any country that just secede out part of its territory without doing enough to preserve it?

with the voice of an elder, I am speaking to the youths of this generation and precisely to the IPOB. ur actual aim of confronting the force men TODAY was to create a scene and attract the attention of the government. Now there is disruption of lives and properties in Asaba . Do u know that just like u were not perturbed when Boko haram was destroying Borno state, same way the people up North read and ignore whatever happens down South. The federal government is not even moved at all. let's rather organize ourselves and hold this government accountable for not creating jobs. I rest my case.

that's why I always wait to hear the other side other story. everywhere around the world, the police is deployed to supervise protest to make sure it doesn't turn violent. in this case you choose to attack the police and think nothing will happen all in a bid for them to retaliate and for you to play the victim. well Nigeria’s unity is non-negotiable indeed if you don't want in you are free to migrate to Israel.

Femi On Weapons Bought By GEJ

Channels ---"We hear that the weapons bought by the Jonathan Administration is being used now to fight BH."

Femi Adeshina---"Govt is a continuum."

Channels ---"But is it true?"

Femi Adeshina---"You can direct that question to the Defence Headquaters"

Channels ---"But you are a spokesperson for the govt"

Femi Adeshina...Well...ehn...you see...

...........................

So it is now a CRIMINAL offence to admit that Jonathan actually bought weapons to prosecute the war on terror?

so the weapons GEJ used under his reign was bought by him too? Or all the weapons at the disposal of the armed forces and police in Nigeria were also bought by GEJ. Mr., get a life, govt has always been a continuum. GEJ also inherited weapons bought by others, but the mammoth corruption and paucity of fund he left behind won't let the new govt function well.

why must you speak like you are not a nigerian,,does nigerian police need to be attacked before accidentally discharging?
Re: 7 Die As MASSOB Protests In Asaba.. by wristbangle: 6:41pm On May 30, 2016
My heart is aggrieved when I saw this news on air few mins ago. First of all, the step IPOB/MASSOB took towards making a violent protest is wrong killing the policemen and also the action by the military/policemen to shoot sporadically at the protesters is wrong especially the pregnant woman. Violence is never the way forward in this period when the economy is volatile.

but atleast I like to give them the benefit of the doubt. do your protest peacefully and then if they attack you, then you can complain. but why kill police officers when you claim your protest is peacefull?

just as I supported one NIGERIA, I don't go against us going our different ways. but this wasting of blood take us to no where. the few that are benefiting from one NIGERIA are powerful and happen to come from all the geopolitical zones of the this entity called NIGERIA and I doubt it if they will ever allow that to happen due to their self-centered ness .
