tarajohn:
@drizzymadbet, first off, for you to make a honest review or judge something, u must have used or been involved with that thing. Its obvious I've never been involved in MMM as your posts shows you don't know much about this opportunity.

Secondly, MMM is not a scam, an MLM, HYIP, Bank or Investment company. MMM is a DONATION COMMUNITY where members have decided to help themselves gratuitously, without collateral, provide financial help to each other.

Thirdly, MMM advertises because of the way it works. Even the Banks and organizations do aggressive advertising. Even the banks need more customets to survive. MMM operates the way a stockvel operates. The point is, whose money has Sergei Mavrodi stolen. No member of MMM , anywhere in the world gives hus or her money to Mr. Mavrodi. When u join MMM, u do not give your money to MMM. MMM or MMM founder Mr Mavrodi, I repeat, does not collect a dime from anyone anywhere in the world. We members give money to each other. We pay directly into the others Bank account. ....so how does Sergie run away with your money. Please answer this @drizzymadbet.

MMM has enemies, the politicians, the banks, government and press. Why? Please go do your research very well. Then u will find the answer. I want u to go do that research, when u find it, only then you'll be convinced to join MMM.

Mr. Mavrodi has made his money way back before MMM. His aim and ideology about MMM is to fight against the unjust financial system of the world; which makes the poor poorer and rich richer thought its the poor who does the hard work. The Bank takes your money in the pretence of keeping it for you. You keep it there for years. How much do they give u as interest Peanuts! Mr Mavrodi belives no government can make the masses rich, no politician or rich person will come to make you rich. He believes, the masses must take the bull by the horn by helping each other and that is why he put this system in place for everyone to take advantage of. Again. Mr. Mavrodi nor MMM does not collect money on his website or from anyone. Mr. Mavrodi is a Mathematician, a programmer and he only set up this system to help the masses. MMM has changed my financial status!!!

Mmm has been in existence for five years in over 100 countries of the world. #mmmpays. It has been paying everyone for five years. #MMM has paid me severally, I've lost count. #MMM is NOT A SCAM!

Of all the comments I have replied so far, you were the most objective. you tried making your points instead of raining in insults I appreciate that.

On the first point you made. I know how the system works, I don't really want to go into details but I can tell you that the schema works at least for now, the signing on, referral bonus, and the happiness bonus all works. I had a neighbour who got over sixty thousand naira in 30 days after pledging 200000(someones money left in her care). so I know how the stuffs work 100 percent.

on the second point you raised, pyramid schemes over the years have been evolving to beat people's suspecting lenses. even in the UniTed states where MMM cannot do businesses, there were pyramid schemes that the government couldn't stop because they never knew that was how they operate until they pack peoples money. Babe I didn't say they are a scam or the other names you listed but till date no body here have proven that its not a pyramid scheme.

Yeah banks do aggressive marketing from the percentage of the profits they make quarterly. Were do Mmm get the money to conduct aggressive ad campaign. Where do they make the money that they pay guiders to conduct seminars and workshops for them? or is it still part of the philantropism that people are made to believe. Take this hard pill, Mmm profits from the system.

Babe dig into the history of the owners and you would see that the owners of Mmm made their riches from similar pyramid schemes they successfully defrauded people of their hard earned cash in the past. Google on pyramid schemes and how it works and then google Mmm and gimme feedback.

yeah mmm pays, but for how long ? how as much as new entrants enter the scheme, Any day new entrants stop entering the business, that would be the elastic limit and that would be the day it would come tumbling like a pack of cards

I am only explaining what OP meant to everyone in the right way. MMM would soon be banned in Nigeria if the FG care.
Believe me, i have been in the business for long to know how this things works.
The fact is that MMM will be gone sooner or later but the gain is; don't get caught up at the middle of that.

The MMM guy have been jailed lotta time for monetary crimes in Russia and afterwhich his program was banned.

My advice for you is to never vouch for them when introducing it to anyone, because you might end up in debt. Make sure everyone make payment by themselves and not through yourself. (Just an advice)

a straight objective analysis, for those who play smart, they can make money out of the system and run when the system still works, Dooley they system would come crashing, more powerful and sophisticated ones did crash, mmm would also crash in due time

Fool.... did MMM request u or any other participant to pay money to its acxount? Mind u, there's no central account in MMM. So dias nothig like the Owner vanishing with ur money cos the Participants pay dorectly to one another.

This alone shows it is scam free ideology!

The aggressive way you are reacting says it all...only idiots would be taken in by a scheme that is mathematically guaranteed to crash. You wouldn't be stressing yourself to defend the stupid scheme if it was actually 100% kosher. Good products don't need violent evangelism. Enjoy your stupidity.

Lol, I think Op is just saying Nigerians should be careful as it is prone to crashing in the future

But should the fear of a possible downfall in the future stop me from making the best out of it today?

This is an opportunity and not all opportunities last forever.

My advice is, make the best out of it; Withdraw your incomes regularly to your bank accounts. And do not offer help with all the money you got. Don't get greedy and overly Ambitious.

These fraudulent schemes keep evolving in several ways.

The Ponzi Scheme.

A Ponzi scheme (also a Ponzi game or a Ponzi)[1] is a fraudulent investment operation where the operator, an individual or organization, pays returns to its investors from new capital paid to the operators by new investors, rather than from profit earned through legitimate sources. Operators of Ponzi schemes usually entice new investors by offering higher returns than other investments, in the form of short-term returns that are either abnormally high or unusually consistent.

The Ponzi Scheme.

Ponzi schemes occasionally begin as legitimate businesses, until the business fails to achieve the returns expected. The business becomes a Ponzi scheme if it then continues under fraudulent terms. Whatever the initial situation, the perpetuation of the high returns requires an ever-increasing flow of money from new investors to sustain the scheme.[2]

The Ponzi Scheme.

The scheme is named after Charles Ponzi,[3] who became notorious for using the technique in 1920.[4] The idea, present in novels (for example, Charles Dickens' 1844 novel Martin Chuzzlewit and 1857 novel Little Dorrit each described such a scheme),[5] was actually performed in real life by Ponzi who with his operation took in so much money that it was the first to become known throughout the United States. Ponzi's original scheme was based on the arbitrage of international reply coupons for postage stamps; however, he soon diverted investors' money to make payments to earlier investors and himself.[2]

Gush. How can Nigerians be this gullible. This is so pathetic. See the number of people brainwashed by this scheme. We are really backward. We are really lazy. The smart and hardworking develop schemes like this to fleece the lazy (those who only want money multiplied for them without putting in any hardwork) of their money. Will people make money from this? Yes, the lucky few. Will people be scammed? Yes the dull majority, of which a fraction of the lucky few belong to.

I got this from the website. Can someone explain. Coz I got a few questions!

WARNING!

There are no guarantees and promises! Neither explicit nor implicit.

There are neither investments nor business! Participants help each other, sending each other money directly and without intermediaries. That’s all! There's nothing more.

There are no securities transactions, no relationship with the professional participants of the securities market; you do not acquire any securities. (Do you need them? :-))

There are no rules. In principle! The only rule is no rules. At all! Even if you follow all of the instructions, you still may "lose". "Win" might not be paid. Without any reasons or explanations.

And in general, you can lose all your money. Always remember about this and participate only with spare money. Or do not participate at all! Amen. :-))

If this is not a business or an investment how then does someone make 30% ROI within a month?

Do you also need to involve others for your ROI to grow?

if you actually read that from their website, that is more reason you should be careful when pledging money on the system. the 30 percent ROI claims are paid by members (new members). Now tell me how this can be sustained.

Lemme give you an analogy, let's assume I pledged 100,000 naira, after 30 days I should be getting 130,000 naira. About the same time I was able to bring 3 friends who registered under me and pledged 200,000 naira, I get a 10‰ referral bonus, meaning that I earn 20,000 on each of em and for bringing the 3 of em I would earn 60,000 naira referral bonus. Adding 60,000 naira to the 130,000 gives us 190,000.

When registering, one gets a signing bonus of 20 dollars depending on the money pledge and that's about 4000 naira. Add it to the 190,000 and you have 194,000 naira. how do u make ur money back? you ask for help of 194,000 and bam, they match u with members (preferably new members) who pledged help. That's a simple example, one makes a ROI of 94,000 within 30 days.

Now tell me how this can be sustained, yes they can sustain it by bringing in New members into the scheme, paying guides ridiculous sums to conduct seminars and make people join.

Bros if you think you can play smart and know when to exit the system, good else Dont join and get burned shikiena
