I mean guys cmon, honestly its disheartening reading transcripts like that mehn. This mentality of hiding info after having interview is really ridiculous.

I'm sorry if posting my university would have made a difference... I didn't think I was withholding anything of importance, I was just trying to save myself about 4 words typing time. I could still modify, right?

Do not bother about such comments.
Some people just want to copy every word said in someone else's interview.
It is no problem if people want to keep information private.

A friend got his F1 visa. He doesn't frequent nairaland though, but I told him he must give me his transcript since I got some helpful tips through the transcript compilation we have here.

He his going to Florida Institute of Tech....for MS Mech Eng.

V.O- Why Florida Tech?

My reply: a top tier research Institute that affords engineering graduates intensive and rigorous research. 2. Excellent facilities and equipment for students to participate in state of art research
3. Florida Tech would afford me d necessary training, skills, experience and exposure to proffer solution to d challenges confronting developing countries in Sub-Saharan Africa

V.O- What are the challenges?

My reply: power generation, promotion of economic growth, industrialization, education, agriculture, expansion of water.

She kept on nodding her head.

She den asked my school... I told her University of Ibadan and she said UI? I said yes

Then From which year to which year? I told her 2007-2012

Then she said congratulations, pick up visa in 3 days.

Hope it helps.....Most of what my guy said was pulled off the school's website.

Yes the payment receipt will be sent immediately to your school and your package will be arranged to be delivered. If your card isnt recognized you will have to link it via PayPal to make the payment.

I have registered with eship already, its just remaining for me to pay. I was expecting that the school would mail me that my i20 has been issued. I have been sending emails they dint reply. Okay then maybe I would probably just pay for the shipment and see what happens.

Tods, check with your school before you waste money. Some schools send i-20 via courier free of charge. Try and mail grad studies if you can't get through to the Intl office.

I still don't understand why people hoard information.
Few days ago, I posted about how SirRiddy's memoir helped me during my application. What if I didn't have access to that info

What if people that have been contributing to this thread from the day it started decided to be posting BLEEP

Let's condemn what is wrong and stand for the right thing.
If you don't wanna share your info, don't even inform us of your visa approval.
But know that posterity would judge you.
This is a faceless forum; I've only met few people outside here.
We all learn everyday.
People would come here in few years and your transcript would still be of help.
Abeg,let's change our attitude.

There is a way you can pick it up and get it in Nigeria without using Dhl but Ems or others can help you.

If you have Dhl fee on eshipglobal webpage, you can go for it and if not plan B is okay for you

What is plan B? Am afraid ooooooo. Hope the school can issue another I-20 sha?
