Saw a Ridgeback in Kaduna but I doubt the breed purity. Check with some pet importers as it is as importable as boerboels. Jos could also serve as a place to look.

for hunting, Consider Ekuke aka Basenji . before you laff consider that they are small and slim which is good for navigating noiselessly in the bush. while they are not ordinarily aggressive, they are considered intelligent. they also rarely bark so wont scare prey away with noise. African Hunters still use them for hunting, they have not been fancy bred for any other purpose than hunting.
